THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Psst, Draco!"

Draco was reading a book while he was sitting on the couch in the common room. The common room was empty as the students hadn't come back to Hogwarts from the Christmas holiday. He looked up at Elysia who was calling him.

"What is it?" Draco asked, looking back to his book.

"Remember when we talked about this thing called 'You-Know-What' in the Great Hall before the Christmas holiday?"

Draco just nodded at her question. He didn't think much of it back then because he thought that thing might be something she and Harry do as siblings to celebrate Christmas.

She sits next to him on the couch and began to tell him what happened last night.

"Me and Harry went to the Restricted Section in the library--"

"What?" Draco quickly looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Why would you two go there?"

"Don't worry about that! That's not what I want to tell you..." Elysia cleared her throat in an attempt to keep what happened to herself. Some of it, at least. "Anyway, we found this weird mirror!"

"How can a mirror be weird?"

"There are funhouse mirrors..." Elysia huffed as she looked at Draco. "You keep distracting me from telling you what I want to tell you..."

"Okay, fine... The mirror, what's so weird about it?"

"It reflected something else..." Elysia waited for a few seconds to see if Draco could interrupt her again. When he didn't say anything, she continued, "When I stood in front of it, I see my reflection and my... parents also stood behind me."

"Your parents? You dead parents...?"

"Yes, them... I mean, I don't have two sets of parents where the other ones are alive."

"Uh, sorry," Draco looked away awkwardly for a second. "A-Anyway, how can you see your parents' reflection?"

"I don't know! That's why I am telling you. You've been in the wizarding world since you were born and I believe your family is a prestigious family! You might know something..."

"No, I don't. I don't know a mirror that reflected the dead," Draco continues reading his book.

"It doesn't reflect the dead," Elysia said as she recalled what Ron saw when he was the one who stood in front of the mirror. "When Ron looked in the mirror, he saw himself as a head boy and the quidditch captain that won the quidditch cup--"

Draco snorted, "Hah! Maybe it shows what people want. I'd say he might get delusional after seeing that."

"Well, yes, maybe I'm just being delusional for wanting to see my parents."

Silence.

Draco awkwardly look back at his book as Elysia stared at the fire cracking in the fireplace.

"I have news," Draco said after a few minutes. He flipped a page of the book, his eyes glued to the pages.

"What is it?" Elysia glanced at him.

"My father sent me a letter," Draco put his hand in his pocket and pulled a paper parchment. Elysia took it and began to read;

Dear Draco,

I write this letter to inform you, your cousin, Ryan will be exchanging school. He will attend Hogwarts after the Christmas holiday. I want you to help him as much as possible with the school and make sure he only makes friends with the most adequate of purebloods. Your Aunt Lyra and Uncle Aaron sent their love and thousand of appreciation.

Your Father,
Lucius Malfoy.

"Oh, your cousin is coming here? That's interesting..."

"Yes, apparently he cannot stand going to Durmstrang," Draco scoffed. "They acted like I've been here for years, asking me to show him around the school and all."

"You don't look happy."

"I am not happy," Draco slammed his book close. "We don't really get along. One can say that I am spoiled, but he got spoiled more than me."

"I guess that does say something," Elysia laughed. "The students will come back in a few days, so you better await your lovely cousin's arrival."

Draco groaned, "Don't rub it in."

Elysia laughed at his reaction and then looked at the book in his hand. She asked if they can read it together to pass the time and they did just that.

A few days later, the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry came back from their home after celebrating Christmas with their family.

"Oh, it was an amazing Christmas!" Caitlyn cooed as she put her bag down. She didn't look very tired for someone who had just gone through hours of the train ride at night. "I got so many gifts!"

"Good for you," Laura scoffed, "My father and mother suddenly had to go back to the Ministry of Magic for work! How absurd!"

"How about you, Elysia?" Caitlyn asked as Laura laid herself down on her bed, her face planned on her pillow.

"Hm, nothing much," Elysia shrugged. She continued to arrange her books for tomorrow's lesson. She figured that she shouldn't say anything to them to hide everything that was going on from them in case it would get them into trouble.

Caitlyn see that Elysia didn't want to talk about it, so she dropped it.

Laura turned around to lie down on her back, "I heard that Ryan Anderson is coming here."

"Oh yeah," Elysia nodded, "Draco's father sent him a letter and told him his cousin will be coming here after Christmas."

"Oh, so I wasn't mistaken," Caitlyn sits on her bed. "I thought I saw him on the train! I didn't realize it was him though. I thought he goes to Durmstrang."

"That rotten boy probably couldn't take it there," Laura laughed.

"I know we're mean from time to time, but Ryan Anderson is worse than mean," Pansy said as she walked into their shared room. "He's a nightmare, really."

"Crabbe and Goyle met him once while playing at Malfoy's mansion. He locked them in rooms. When they get out from the room, he locked us them another," Pansy added. "I guess that's why they never came to play if he's around."

"Oh... I am not looking forward to see him, then," Elysia laughed.
