It was far into the night and parts of the city had gone dark and quiet. Houses, apartments, and establishments were closed up to prepare for the upcoming morning ahead.

Among these slumbering buildings was the church that stood tall among the infrastructure surrounding it. Only street lights and the occasional cars passing gives light to the neighborhood.

Then a beam of light illuminated the church as a figure descended down from the heavens into the place of worship. As the figure landed, their wings retracted back, hiding them from the mortals on Earth.

The figure stepped out of the building, gazing upon the city skyline filled with illuminated skyscrapers. Life continued on for the humans well into the night.

A gust of the cold night wind blew through the angel's fluffy purple hair, making it a little disheveled. Even with the chill of the air, Soobin didn't react to the cold, seemingly used to the feeling.

He opened his palms creating a compass-like object made out of golden light. "Find Hwang Yeji." He spoke with a calm yet dignified tone, the compass immediately following the command.

It pointed to the direction of the pub the angel is located to which Soobin followed.

Back at the pub, only a few people were awake. Yeonjun and Wooyoung were the first to fall asleep, and next were Yuna and Chaeryeong who were next to each other cuddling on the couch.

On the bar where the drinks were located, Lia and Felix were seated still drinking to their heart's content. The heartbroken angel had tears running down her face as she kept doing shot after shot.

The freckled-faced angel just sat beside her and watched with a worried yet sad look on his face. For a long time, Lia had held on to a crush for the dominion.

It was for so long that it might even be love, but alas the fate of a cupid in love is but a tragedy, doomed to fail from the start. The angel knew this but that didn't stop her from being caught in the dominion's eyes every time they met.

Another shot of the bitter alcoholic beverage was consumed, a burning feeling intensified in her throat. She became numb to the feeling as if it was just water that entered her body.

"I was there whenever she needed someone beside her. I was there whenever she needed a shoulder to cry on. I was there when her brother went missing. I was always there! Why can't she realize that? Am I not enough?"

The cupid's cries echoed in the room. Felix put his hand on the sloth-faced angel's back, trying to provide some sort of comfort for her. Lia was about to do another shot but the angel beside her stopped her from doing it.

"I think that's enough." He said in a soft tone as he slowly guided her arm downwards to the bar. Lia tried her best to wipe all her tears away but was fruitless since new once would replace them.

She hid her face in her arms on the bar, crying her heart out from pain and heartbreak. "Maybe drinking wasn't my best idea..." Felix said to himself as he watched how the cupid's emotions were in scrambles.

He had never seen Lia in this state, curled up, drinking, trying to numb her pain, crying to the point where her voice breaks. It's all so heavy for him to see his friend like this.

Having another idea, he placed his hand on the crying cupid's head, petting it a bit. He closed his eyes and recited a spell under his breath. A faint glow illuminated from his hand, and slowly the cries died down into sniffles until it completely stopped.
