Lia was walking along the town square with a skip on her step. She was holding a box of strawberry shortcakes, intending to give them to Yeji.

For the past couple of days, she noticed that the angel seemed to be down in the dumps because of the recent events that happened. Well, all of them were having a hard time dealing with it but it was worse with Yeji.

She was hoping that the pastries she made were going to lift the dominion's mood, even if just a little bit.

Lia smiled at the passersby, greeting them with her lovely smile that can make anyone fall for her.

Anyone but one.

As she kept trotting by, her eyes spotted the head of the angel she was looking for. Wherever she may be, may it be somewhere crowded or hard to see, her eyes seem to always lock on Yeji.

"Yeji!" She shouted, gaining the angel's attention. She smiled at her, though it was empty and Lia could tell from a mile away. Nevertheless, the sloth-faced angel smiled back, beaming with joy and affection.

"Hey." Yeji greeted with feigned cheer. Her eyes looked hollow, devoid of the usual sparkles it held. Her face diminished with color as if it was just a body without a soul. Her aura lacked the power and charisma it once exudes.

All of these Lia noticed. It broke her to see Yeji in this state, especially since the last time she was like this was when Hyunjin was pronounced dead.

"I made you these." She held out her hand, revealing the pastries contained inside a pretty cute pink box. It took her almost a whole day just making them so she hoped Yeji would like them.

The dominion took the box out of her hand with a small smile as a sign of gratitude. "Thanks."

"I just thought you'd like something sweet. I've noticed you've been kind of out of it lately." Lia said as she rubbed Yeji's shoulder to comfort her.

"Yeah..." She trailed off, not really in the mood to talk about it. Lia noticed this and decided not to dwell on it any further. "Where are you going by the way?"

"Oh, just somewhere." Yeji's gaze drifted towards the ground. Lia got the signal that she didn't really want any company right now. With a sigh, she bid her goodbye.

"Alright, I'll head on my way." Yeji nodded at her before walking away, leaving Lia to her lonesome.

Whistles of arrows slicing the air were heard at the archery range as Lia shot one after another towards the targets.

Her eyes were always locked on to the red dot at the center as she pulled the string with strength before releasing another shot.

"She's been like that ever since we got here! I can't believe she had such strong feelings for someone who she literally just met!" Her words were filled with spite and jealousy.

Lia was using archery as a way of releasing her pent up emotions. Her arrows were the anger she felt piercing through her entire body. Every target that was hit was another jab at her heart.

Every swirling emotion she was feeling was conveyed in every shot she made. She wasn't even aware of what was happening until she couldn't hit the target anymore because of the amount of arrows it has.

"Someone's a little pent up." A voice sounded through the range. She didn't even need to turn to look at the source of the sound to know who it was.

"Don't even start, Felix." Lia uttered in clear annoyance as she waved her hand in front of her, making all the arrows vanish from their place.

The boy just looked at her amused as he watched her draw the bow again with a new arrow to shoot. "You know, you could always talk your feelings out instead of trying to destroy that poor target."
