Mingyu sat in the kitchen, staring blankly at the wall. He felt confused with himself. He still remembered last week when he proudly said that he liked women. But look at him now, just spent the whole night being intimate with his master who was a man. And when his master wanted him to be his lover, Mingyu felt delighted. And when their lips touched after the confession, Mingyu was longing for more.

But he was just a lowly servant. And his Master was a prince. Not only was the relationship between men frowned upon, but between master and slave was literally forbidden. How about the Duke's reputation if people found out about him letting a slave touch him. It would taint the entire royal family.

"What are you thinking about?" a familiar voice interrupted Mingyu's thought.

He looked up and realized it was the butler, Seungcheol. Speaking of him, ever since Mingyu took over his position as the Duke's personal butler, he never see the man at all after that. The man just came back from the town, buying some groceries. He put the bags on the counter and leaned against it, facing Mingyu.

"Mind sharing?" Seungcheol smiled.

"Nothing." Mingyu brushed it off.

"After I become Master's personal butler, it's hard to see you anymore. I was told that I took your job. So, I apologize." Mingyu stated.

"No need to feel sorry. You actually make my job easier. I have a lot of things on my back and you simply lift one of them."

Seungcheol started to lay out all the groceries and placed them in the cupboard. Mingyu watched the man silently when some thoughts ran through his mind again. He used to be Master's personal butler before me. So did he and Master...

"Hyung..." the man turned to him.

"Did Master ever request you to..." Mingyu was hesitant to ask. He didn't want to let anyone know what happened between him and the Duke.

"Request what?"

"Did he ever request you to do something out of the ordinary?"

"Believe me. I have to do a lot of out-of-ordinary things for him. Be more specific." Seungcheol let out a chuckle.

"What are the things that he requests you to do?" Mingyu asked again. But Seungcheol stopped for a second.

"You will know when Master trusts you enough. So, what are the things he requests you to do instead? It's too early for him to make you do my other jobs." Seungcheol got back to the topic.

"Well..." Mingyu was beating around the bush.

And he just gave up.

"Did Master ever request you to sleep with him?" and the question caught the man off guard.

He looked at Mingyu for affirmation but the latter just avoided the eye contact.

"So he finally did what he told me."

"What do you mean?" Mingyu was taken back too.

"When the three brought you here, Master was confused. Usually, when trespassers entered Master's property, the three would kill or chase them out. So, when you were being treated by me, Master was curious about you. He would visit you every night to check on you. After your first meeting with him, he came to me to ask my opinion about you." the butler explained.

"Look, Master was abandoned by the royal family just because he was not the crown prince. That's why he was longing for love from someone. It's lonely to live in this huge mansion by yourself. Master was a serious man. He knows what he wants. So if he asks you to be his lover, believe me, he is serious about it."
