The Duke passed through the woods as fast as he could, trying to keep up with the wolves. Hyanggi heard the whistle and he wouldn't stop until he reached the source of the high-frequency sound. At some point, Chongguk started to take the lead as he picked up Chan's scent. The Duke knew they were getting closer.

The wolves changed direction as they headed toward the road. Light invaded Wonwoo's vision as they exited the forest and were on the road.

"Chan, wait for me." the Duke said.

Meanwhile, Chan closed his eyes tightly as he was terrified of the monster on top of him. The monster pinned him down on the floor of the carriage and tied up his little hands on his back. He licked his lips and grabbed Chan's cloth before he yanked it roughly, ripping it off. The boy let out a short scream before he bit his lips. He didn't want to give what the man wanted.

"Refuse to let out your voice? I'm gonna make sure you regret it." Lord Kim smirked.

He grabbed Chan by the shoulder, facing him as he roughly left marks all over his small body. Chan whimpered as he tried to run away but failed. The man pulled down his pants and his hard member sprung out. He then grabbed Chan's pants and tried to take it off. The boy's survival instinct kicked in as he started to scream and kick his legs everywhere. He managed to kick the man on the chest but it just made the man pissed off more.

Lord Kim grabbed the leg and punched Chan in the face. The punch was too strong for the little boy and he immediately coughed off blood. A bruise started to form on his soft cheek. His movement stopped for a moment because the punch stunned him. Lord Kim took off the boy's pants and spread his legs.

He spit at the entrance and without warning, he forcefully thrust his member into it. Chan let out a very painful scream as he burst into tears. The monster smirked as he started to move his hips. Suddenly, the carriage abruptly stopped followed by a scream. Lord Kim pulled out his member and left the lifeless boy on the floor. Before he could open the door, a loud bang echoed, someone hit the door. Followed by the sound of swords clashing together.

"Master, don't come out yet! It's dangerous!" Lord Kim's bodyguard yelled.

The bodyguard took a deep breath as he pointed out his sword towards the man in front of him. He was badly injured. He looked to the side and saw the coachman already pinned down by two wolves with one of them bit him on the neck. The third one approached the bodyguard slowly while growling.

"Move." the Duke said in a cold, monotone voice.

"I can't. I already pledge my loyalty to my master with my life. If you want to get to him, you need to get over my dead body."
