Chapter Seventeen

Mingyu broke the kiss as he looked at the man on top of him. Wonwoo licked his lips and grind his hips against Mingyu. One of the wheels hit a rock making the cart jump a bit as the two rocked upward. Mingyu accidentally thrust his hips and Wonwoo let out a whimper.

"M-master, you should get off me. I think we're about to reach the town." Mingyu blushed.

"I got off when we arrived. You should calm your lower body part first." Wonwoo kissed the eyebrow.

"I can't calm it down if your behind keep rubbing against me." the servant pouted.

Wonwoo wrapped his arms around the man's shoulders and kissed his nose. The carriage slowed down as they arrived at the town. The Duke got off his servant and fixed his outfit. Mingyu bit his lips as he struggled to park his member properly. Wonwoo looked at how flustered the man was and let out a chuckle.

They stayed in the cart a little longer until Mingyu calmed down before they joined the crowd. Wonwoo kept teasing his lover along their walk. Their date was filled with teasing and whining. As an apology, Wonwoo bought any food that Mingyu wanted to eat.

Suddenly, Mingyu stopped in his tracks as he looked at his side. It was the place where they sold servants once again. Wonwoo looked at his lover and at the direction he was looking at. He let out a small frown.

"Do I have to get a servant every time we go on a date?" Wonwoo asked.

"No, I think I see someone familiar." Mingyu approached the spot with Wonwoo followed right after.

Mingyu walked past the crowd with his eyes fixed on that one person at the end of the line of servants. As he got closer, his frown got bigger.

"No way." Mingyu let out a gasp.

"Lady Seulgi-" he was about to shout but quickly covered his mouth.

"Who?" Wonwoo asked.

Mingyu was still speechless at what he was looking at. Why the daughter of a merchant up there? Did Lady Joohyun know about this? Maybe she's not her.

"That's... Lady Seulgi." Mingyu informed his master and then he leaned forward.

"Lady Joohyun's lover." he whispered to Wonwoo.

The Duke widened his eyes as he looked at the woman. Shortly after the man dragged Lady Seulgi to the front and the bidding started. A lot of men began to set the price and it kept going higher. As the price reached 100,000 won, out of a sudden, the Duke stepped forward and pulled out a pouch out of nowhere.

"300,000 won." the Prince's bidding made the crowd go silent.

"350,000 won." a voice could be heard from behind.

Everyone turned around and looked at the old nobleman. He had his eyes on Lady Seulgi and nothing could stop him. But if the Duke wanted something, he would get it.

"375,000 won." the Duke raised his bidding.

"...400,000 won." the man hesitantly raised the money too.

"600,000 won." the Prince stood proud.

He was ready to raise the price but the old nobleman let out a huff and walked away. The Duke smirked as he turned to Lady Seulgi.

"600,000! Sold to Duke Jeon Wonwoo." the man shouted.

People started to whisper among them. A royalty at a slave auction just purchased a servant could be the talk of the town for a while. The Duke stepped forward as the man gave the woman to him. Mingyu stood behind the crowd, thinking what he should say to Lady Seulgi after this. He literally begged his master to save the woman because he didn't want her to suffer.
