NASTARIA'S POV HOUSTON ,TEXAS
Wednesday-September 3rd. 10:00am
"You go be late to school for the 5th time this week" Memphis said mugging me on ft
"Dude chill ya nuts and ya cat" I said
"Haha so funny" he said rolling his eyes
"It isss" I said laughing
"Stfu but since you gonna be late can you bring me some food please..these cramps are gonna be the death of me" he said dramatically
"Yea yes drama king ima get you something" I said
"Love ya" he said
"Luh you too" I said before hanging up
I went to Wendy's getting him a $5 biggie bag, a strawberry lemonade and a vanilla frosty. I knew his ass was on his period the way he had been rushing me.
Pulling off from Wendy's I sped to school and walked in as soon as the bell for break period rang. Hey at least I wouldn't get into to much trouble.
I slipped in through one of the back doors and went to the courtyard where Me, Memphis, Ren, Sari, Mari and one of the twins started meeting up since school started.
"Here fatty" I said plopping the bag of food, drink and small cup of dessert on the table
"I ain't fat bitch and thank you" Memphis said snatching the all of it off the table before somebody else could grab it
"Mhm yea wtv" I said as I sat down next to him
While Memphis was busy stuffing his mouth, Ren had her head down probably falling asleep, Mari was flirting with Brozyl I think was her name and Sari was sitting there writing in a pretty notebook. I wasn't gonna pry but it looks like she was writing a bunch of stuff in it. I got lost in my thoughts and started staring at her.
From her pretty neat of a messy bun on top her head, edges laid and all, eyebrows done, lashes done. Her little button nose, her plump lips and chubby cheeks. All I could think was that she was perfect. At least to me.
I guess she caught me because once we made eye contact her face turned a light red, she then started snapping in my face to get my attention.
"Nae..Nae you okay?" She asked as she snapped in my face
"Yea I'm good" I said
"Okay" she said softly while smiling
All I could do was smile back. Her smile was so precious, ts made me wanna lose my damn mind.
About 10 more mins passed and the bell rang for 3rd period. I gathered my stuff and waited for Memphis cs he was in my class.
"Cmon pop" I said
"Stop rushing meee" he said on the verge of tears
"Damn I'm sure as glad ion get ts" I said looking at him with the yikes face
"Well Sari does so you go have to deal with it for the rest of ya life" he said
I choked on my water as I took a double look at him.
"And what's that supposed to mean??" I asked
"Aw cut ts, I'm your bsf. I see how you look at her Nastaria" he said laughing
"Okay so what if I like her" I said as we walked the hall
"Just treat her good is all ima say. Best friends or not I will slice and dice you if you break my cousins heart..there won't be another run of what happened to her." He said as we walked in the class
I just looked at him confused as ever. Yea we had been friends since 1st grade but I had started hanging around Sari and the others in the 9th grade.
"Wym another run??" I said sitting down next to him
"That's not my story to tell.." he said in a sad tone
Everything in the book was running in my mind. What had happened to her that was so bad??
