KASARI'S POV HOUSTON ,TEXAS
THE RECEPTION Sunday-December.3rd 8:35pm
I stood up and grabbed my glass. I tapped a knife on it gently so it could ring out and get everyone's attention.
As it rang out everybody's heads snapped towards me. I got a little nervous but I looked down to see Dee and Nae by my side giving me reassuring smiles.
I cleared my throat and started my speech.
"To my mom and dad. Blessing and Saint Hunt. It's been a whirlwind these past few years but it brought us to this day. Yall are the most amazing parents out there and I wouldn't wish for anybody else to have gave birth to me and raise me. Daddy you weren't there but you're surly making up for it. To the most beautiful couple I've ever seen, yall never let anybody break yall down and that definitely shows something." I said
Everybody clinked their glasses with their neighbors and drank. I drank champagne then sat down.
The reception was cut short after cutting the cake because my parents were to excited to jump each other's bones.
"Yall be good." My mom slurred a little as they walked out the reception
"No yall be good." I said laughing
We helped clean up the hall and everyone went their separate ways.
