What Was I Made For

World of plastic
Hers was made of gold
All the happiness ceased
Though she had it all

Would it be worth it
All the fake ebullience
Shined like it was genuine

It's hard to acknowledge the reason you were made for

Made to be happy
All she had was the fake smile
Dimed with the golden pieces
Even when she was not

Freedom of your emotions
Or the slavery of your happiness
Remarked by your sadness when you have no right to choose..
