Morning comes but Jungkook hasn't slept yet. The match he had last night didn't require him to sleep so he stayed awake by bar hopping with his friends, Mingyu and Yoongi with Jimin have the best of times whenever Jungkook needed a company to stay awake and they will sleep eventually when the morning comes in his living room while Jungkook is getting ready for his first day of the job

He flicks the calling card and hops in his bike inserting the key to ignition to starts it. He needs to be on the said address before 8am as that is the usual time for business transactions

He rides his bike thinking of the face of his boss daughter. The one he's going to be, Taehyung is beautiful and he wonders why someone like him her dad chose to be her bodyguard, he's a General, he must've a lot of qualifed men with him that can take care of her. Why he does to go to a place like that just to find her a personal bodyguard

A huge house came to his view after he pass a few gates of an exclusive subdivision. He stands in front of a tall steel gate but before he rings the bell someone behind it opens the peek hole. Someone at first informs the guard behind it for his arrival. He opens the smaller gate for him

"General Kim has been waiting for you" he informs and Jungkook feels it's a mistake to be there. The man walks ahead of him as he follows. He looks down checking if his attire is out of place but no one didn't bother to tell him

The man ahead of him opens the door and the scene is quite familiar. An older man sits on a single couch beside the lady sitting on a longer couch. She's wearing a simple dress underneath a lab coat with a black boston bag beside her

"There you are.. we've been waiting for you.. this will be simple.. you just need to guard her" General Kim said pointing a finger at his daughter, Taehyung's eyes in on her dad watching him telling his newly hired bodyguard what to do, he walks out of the room but before Taehyung stands up one guy hands him a sling bag

"For you" he said as he reach out for it, it's a small bag but quite heavy for its looks

He looks at the man with furrowed eyebrows while hanging it to his body

"Heavy is it? Get used to looks what's inside" the man that gave it to him said

Jungkook open up the zipper and take out a hand gun. His eyes widened surprised of what he is holding, he needs it. What's the use of him being a bodyguard if he's carrying any weapon in him

"is this necessary? I mean i can protect her even I'm not carrying this thing, right?"
He inspect it carefully and release the magazine, it's loaded

"yes it is necessary.. you'll never know when you're going to need it, careful for that.. it's quite sensitive, make sure it's lock" the guy reminds him, he nods and someone throws a carkey onto him

"you know how to drive, right?"

"Yeah but... "

"No buts! You're a good driver?"

"I can drive but not that... Good?"

"You need to be at least a good driver, well.. you'll learn" and they all laugh and Jungkook didn't know what's funny about what he said

Taehyung waits for him at the door fixing her clothes, holding her phone, reading some messages. She got used to this.. Jungkook is not the first bodyguard she had and she knows the guards of her father needs to orient him to say the least

"Well, you'll get the hang of it"
The other one says tapping him in the shoulder

"Yeah! If you last a week at least.. alive? I guess?" The other one concludes that makes Jungkook stares at him thinking if he's serious about what he just said
