Chapter 3 Headliners

At Mane Melody the Dreamlands were trying to get though a song it wasn't going so well Snuzzle groaned "This isn't working, Minty!" "Snuzzle is right. Ugh, why did we agree to this anyway? We're washed up!" said Blue Belle "No, we're not!" said Minty "They're going to laugh at us" said Snuzzle "We just need to run it a few more times. Come on, let's just try it again from the top. ] And a-one, two, a-one, two, three!" began Minty Sunny then came busting though the doors "Sorry I'm late! I came straight from Bridlewood!" said Sunny panting "Sunny! So glad you're here!" said Jazz "This is not going well" said Rocky Belle walked into Snuzzle "Hey! Watch where you're going!" said Snuzzle "You're in my way!" said Belle "Stop it, you two!" said Minty playing peacekeeper "Has it been like this the whole time?" Sunny asked Jazz and Rocky "As soon as they walked in the door" answered Rocky "They can't agree on anything!" said Jazz "And they haven't even made it through their whole song once" said Rocky "Maybe I can fix this" said Sunny "That's it! I'm done!" said Blue Belle "Fine!" said Snuzzle Sunny intervened "Uhhh... Minty! Looking fresh! How is everything going?" she asked "Oh, Sunny. Don't act like you didn't just see that. It's a disaster! The dance moves are off, our looks are dated, and..." started Minty "We can't agree on what song to perform" said Snuzzle "Blue Belle thinks we should try and update our sound to appeal to a younger audience, but that's not so easy. I think this might be a no-go for The Dreamlands. Sorry, Sunny" said Minty "Hey, wait! Don't give up! And don't try to change yourselves. Your classic sounds are what everypony loves about you! You just have to do what you do best, and you're gonna rock that stage!" said Sunny the Dreamlands looked at each other then nodded "Yeah!" they yelled 

Back with Hitch and Zipp they were asking Unicorn about Troggles "What can you tell us about Troggles?" asked Hitch "Troggles? Where?!" yelled the Unicorn who then ran off screaming  Zipp flew over to a group of Unicorn foals "Hey, uh, do you ponies know that jinxie poem? About the Tro" she began but one of the foals cut her off "Shhhh! Yeah, but I don't wanna say it!" said the foal "What?!" asked Hitch "Yeah, I mean, like, what is a Troggle anyway, you know?" said another Unicorn "Like, when you think about it, what is anything?" Zipp gave a deep sigh "I think I've come to a conclusion" she said "Well?" asked Hitch "The results are inconclusive  I can't tell if these monster spirit things are real or just another piece of spooky unicorn lore!" said Zipp "Me, neither. But I think we need to talk to Pipp again. Before it's too late" said Hitch Zipp hummed in agreement  

"Hey, ponies!" said Pipp to Zipp and Hitch "We wanna talk to you about something" asked Zipp "Wait, wait, wait! Have you seen the Mane Stage yet? Come look first!" said Pipp landing them over to the stage "Wow, Pipp. That looks really cool!" said Zipp Rubies were stuck to the base of the stage "Don't you love the rubies?" she said Sparky gurgled at them "I had them locally harvested from Bridlewood in honor of Ruby Jubilee's big performance! I'm just so thrilled with how everything is coming together with no snags at all!" said Pipp "Well, about that... There's kind of a snag that we wanted to discuss" said Zipp "Uh, Princess Pipp? We need you at artist tent setup!" said an Earth Pony there was then a loud crash "Please!" he said "Be right there! Thanks for stopping by!" said Pipp "Am I the only one who is worried about all this Troggle stuff?! Look! There are even unicorns on board with the festival now!" said Zipp pointing out that a few Unicorn were helping with the stage  "Then maybe you are just trying to dig up trouble where there isn't any" said Hitch "You're right. Maybe sometimes... there just isn't any mystery to solve" said Zipp "And that's okay" said Hitch "You know what? I'm gonna try and have fun tomorrow. Lean into the whole music festival experience. For my sister" said Zipp "Me, too!" said Hitch 

"Welcome to Bridlewoodstock, everypony!" said Pipp "This is all gonna be okay, right? Even after all the stuff those unicorns said?" asked Hitch  "I really hope so" said Zipp "Pipp really pulled things together fast, huh?" asked Hitch "Heh. That's my little sister for ya. When she wants something, she will make it happen" said Zipp "Well, I'm impressed. This place looks awesome! Very floral" said Hitch "Yeah, it does. All right, I'll admit it. I am a little excited. And I can't wait to see Electric Blue headline the show!" said Zipp "Huh. I thought The Dreamlands were headlining the show" asked Hitch Zipp looked over and saw Lizzy making hat of other clothing out of  out of flowers "Hey, look! There's Izzy's booth!" said Zipp "Hey, Iz. What's all this?" she asked "The Flower-fication Station! Station! Station!" said Izzy doing her echo " It's so much fun, it's almost making me forget about how super jinxie this all is! Take a seat!" said Izzy Izzy then gave the anew look colouring the coats and giving then neo glass "Wow! Now you're really festival ready!" said Izzy "Yeah, we are!" said Hitch "Thanks, Izzy!" said Zipp "You're welcome, have fun, and don't let the Troggles bite!" said Izzy nervously "What was that?" asked Zipp "Um, just some silly old jinxie saying. Nothing to worry about. Probably. Okay, catch ya later!" said Izzy "Who's hungry? I'm starving" said Hitch they then heard "Hungry... Hungry...!"   "Mm-hmm..." thought Zipp "Did you just hear that?" said Zipp "Come on! Let's get some snaaaacks! Whoo!" said Hitch "Ugh! This is taking forever. What are we in line for again?" asked Zipp "Fries! With dipping sauces!" said Hitch "Oh, yeah. Huh. That does sound pretty delicious" said Zipp
