Chapter 17 : Remedy's

Sunny was trying to find the recipe for the soup with her phone but it came up with no results no matter what she typed "Magic get-well soup". Nope. "Magic get-well soup Zephyr Heights"? Nothing. Uh, "Princess Pipp's perfect magic soup recipe for when Pipp is sick soup" she groaned "Sunny? Something on the stove smells kind of strange" said Zipp Sunny gasped "My test soup!" she cried as she ran back into the kitchen she turned the stove off as Zipp gave her a spoon "I'll take that" she said she tapped the soup it was rock hard "Yikes. I think I'll make other lunch plans" said Zipp "No, this isn't for us. I'm trying to make your mom's special soup for Pipp. I should just go to Zephyr Heights and ask her" said Sunny "Ohhhh... Maybe don't do that?" admitted Zipp "Huh? Why not?" asked Sunny "Mom only made that soup when we were sick" said Zipp "So?" asked Sunny "If she knows one of us is sick, she'll freak out and, like, fly here and stuff!" said Zipp "Plus Pipp is her youngest quote her baby" I said "What are you doing down her?" asked Sunny "Pipp wanted a glass of water" I said  Zipp turned back to Sunny "Just Be cool about it?" said Zipp "Cool? I can be cool! I can be very cool" said Sunny the smell of the ruined soup filled the air a gave a gag "But maybe you should take care of that first" I said "Blech! No, good call" said Sunny Pipp was singing in raspy voice into her phone "What's that sound? It's the sound of the– cough –thundercloud. Crash! You've gotta believe in the—cough" "PIPP!" I  yelled walking in with Zipp "Busted" I said "You're supposed to be resting! Vocal resting!" said Zipp as I took her phone "No! Not Bestie! Give her back!" Pipp screamed "No more secret singing! No more ClipTrots! No more livestreams! You can have this back later. Give yourself a break for now. Sheesh!" I said Pipp gave a sigh and a groan

Sunny had arrived at Zephyr Heights and went straight to Queen Haven  "Hi, Queen Haven! I-I mean, Your Majesty!" said Sunny "Oh, please, Sunny. Call me "Your Majesty Queen Haven". To what do I owe the pleasure? And where are my girls? Are they here?" asked Haven "Play it cool... Well, Zipp has some sleuthing to do, and Pipp is sick... at skateboarding! She's so sick at it! Sick means good! She's skating!" said Sunny giving a nervous chuckle "This is a satisfying answer" said Haven "I'll just cut to the chase and tell you that... that... I've entered a cooking competition! Yup! I did! And I need to bring some Zephyr Heights elevated flavours to Maretime Bay. I think it'll be the height of sophistication! Get it?" bluffed Sunny with a laugh "Oh, how lovely! And you're right about that. Our cuisine is second to none. I'd love to help!" said Haven 

Back at the Brighthouse Hitch was back "Okay, Hitch. Whatcha got for me now?" asked Pipp "My incredibly talented critters and I have prepared a play for you Our story starts in a humble wooded thicket right here in Maretime Bay... Hark! To what do mine eyes see but a spotted owl?" began Hitch he then made a hooting sound Pipp and I giggled as Hitch narrated the play as the critter and Sparky played it out "And there was never a war between the spotted owls and the striped lemurs ever again!" finished Hitch Pipp and I clapped "That was so cute! Oh, one question, though. Did the winged gopher learn to fly because it was inside him all along or because the Breezie fairy granted him a wish? I'm sorry, it's just a little unclear. Feels like a first draft" asked Pipp Kenneth chirping angrily at her "He says... You know what? I won't share that one" said Hitch 

Back with Sunny and Queen Haven "So, would you happen to have any special soups that might heal— I mean, wow the judges?" asked Sunny "Oh, do I? I do! There's cream of marshmallow, egg cloud bisque, and Pegasus wedding soup. My personal favourite" said Haven "Huh. Not exactly what I'm looking for. Uh, but they all sound great" said Sunny 

"Okay, Pipperoni and Cheese! This time I think I've got it! The magic potion tea to cure your bug and bring you back to maximum sparkle!" said Izzy to Pipp "Ooh! I'll try it! The last one really was delicious. Notes of cinnamon and ginger and... cotton candy?" questioned Pipp "Oh, you noticed! Aww! Okay, here you go! Bottoms up!" said Izzy Pipp took another sip and started to speak but she sound like Izzy "Again, delicious! Wait, why do I sound like this? I'm you, Izzy! I mean, I'm, like, not you but, like, I have your voice! Oh, no!" said Pipp "What? Let me try!" said Izzy she took a sip  "Mmm! Tasty! Huh? That was new. Must have been the bumbleroot" she said   How's your voice now?" I asked Pipp in a roar voice she sang out "Fa la laaa... Still the same" she said sadly "Oh, flying rats! But I'm not gonna give up yet! Potion tea magic is real! I'll be right back" said Izzy Zipp was back "Look who came to see you, Pipp" she said Misty walked in behind her "Misty?! Haven't seen you since the Manesquerade Ball!" said Pipp "I know. I've, uh, been busy. But I saw you on the livestream, and I wanted to check up on you" said Misty "Awww! Aren't you sweet?" I said Misty blushed "Yeah, yeah, yeah, very sweet. Okay, sis and Xavier . It's time we talk turkey" said Zipp "Oh, I don't know any talking turkeys you should ask Hitch!" said Pipp "No! "Talk turkey" is detective speak for "get down to business"! I wanna take you through my ongoing case against the nefarious evil pony who wants to steal magic!" said Zipp Misty gave a gasp "Ooh-hoo-hoo-hoo! Okay! You mean the dirt! The goss! The tea!" said Pipp in the distance  we heard Izzy yell out "No, it's not ready yet!"  "The facts!" said Zipp "I love it! Let's get into it!" I said leaning  back in my chair "Or, uh... we could play a game instead!" said Misty "Nah, I like my idea better. So, after hours and hours of digging through everything, including the book Misty helped me find I've determined that this evil pony is definitely an Alicorn! And she's been around since the days of Twilight Sparkle! But maybe even way before that!" said Zipp "SO my time?" I asked Zipp nodded Pipp gave a deep gasp "I love this theory! Keep going!" she said with a cough
