Chapter 1 The Lumi-Bloom

We all walked though the trees of Bridlewood Izzy wanted to show us something and for some reason tonight was the only time that would do you could heard crickets chirping and owls hooting "Remined me why you thought night was the time to show us?" I said "This is kinda spoooooky, isn't it?" said Pipp happily Pipp loved Spooky stuff Hitch not so much "No. Not at all" he said tripping over his words Sparky was asleep on his back "Izzy, what are we doing in the middle of the Bridlewood forest at night?" asked Sunny "It's a surprise! If I told you, you wouldn't be surprised!" said Izzy "She does have a point there" said Zipp "You're gonna love it! Hoof to heart! Come on! It's just up here!" said promised Izzy we pushed our way farther into the woods we then came to a small clearing and number of flowers and plants spouted around the place "We're here! Ta-daaaah!" she said "Uh, Izzy? Is something supposed to happen?" asked Zipp "Hush" whispered Izzy the flowers and plants then started to glow and lighting bugs flew around "Wow!" said Sunny "Gorgeous!" said Pipp "Awesome!" said Zipp "Magical" I said " What?" said Hitch Sparky woke up and grubbed at the sight "Wow! I've never seen anything like this in my life! This is amazing, Izzy! What is it?" asked Sunny "It's called the "Lumi-Bloom". Every moon season, for one week only, all of the plants and stuff in this part of Bridlewood go all wild and glowy!" explained Izzy "So it's not just some sort of unicorn spell? Just a natural phenomenon?" asked Zipp taking out a manga fine glass "Yup! Do you like it?" asked Izzy "Like it? Do I like it?! I love it! It makes me wanna sing!" said Pipp she started to vocalize some lighting bugs flew around her "Oh, my glow! Did you guys just see that?!" she asked "Yeah. Huh. That was actually really cool" said Zipp "I have to do it again! Quick, get it on camera this time!" said Pipp handing her phone to me "Wait!" said Pipp "What's wrong?" asked Hitch "I just had an even better idea. We can share this beautiful sight with everypony if we bring them all here" said Pipp "Whoa. How are we gonna do that?" asked Izzy "By hosting the biggest and brightest musical festival that Equestria's ever seen! Or heard" said Pipp excitedly "That sounds so magical! I love it!" said Sunny "But Izzy said the bloom only lasts a week. Which means... we're already running out of time! We have to get started right now!" said Pipp she turned and ran off everyone apart from me and Izzy followed her we heard laughter "Yeeeessss... Sing for us, ponies..." said a menacing voice along with maniacal laughter 

The next morning everypony apart from Izzy was up Pipp sat at her desks skimming through pages of her idea from the music show Izzy awoke from a stretch "Whatcha doin'?" she asked Pipp "Making my dreams come true! Because if you can dream it, you can do it, Izzy" said Pipp Izzy gasped "I just dreamed that I crafted an entire sailboat out of tortilla chips!" said Izzy "See? I love that for you! And I love this for me! But if I want to make the Bridlewoodstock music festival happen, I can't waste a single minute. Everypony has to see the Lumi-Bloom before it's over!" said Pipp "It is pretty special, huh?" asked Izzy "Which is why I'm going to need help today. We'll have to bring in everything and fast" said Pipp she then started listing off everything that was needed "Tents, stages, sound equipment, decorations, and of course... musicians!" she saw that Izzy had a nervous face on "Wait. Why does your face look like that?" she asked  "Well... uh, I don't want to burst your excitement bubbles, but there is a little, teensy-weensy problem with that particular spot. Um, maybe we should have the festival somewhere else" said Izzy "A problem?" asked Pipp "Umm, it's just that we... we unicorns think it's kinda jinxie to sing or make any loud noises during the Lumi-Bloom because of the...the Troggles!" Izzy whispered the last part "Is that it? An old "jinxie" rumor? Psssh! Ha!" laughed Pipp "No, it's not a rumor! There's even a poem! It goes like this..."Eyes of the monster, form of the pig Sing, laugh, or yell, step hoof on a twig" Pipp then cut her off "Iz! Iz, Iz, Iz! It's going to be fine! Once the unicorns hear the amazing music with the glowy sights, they won't even remember that silly poem. It will be that life-changing. Trust me" said Pipp "Yeah...I guess you could be right. I've never actually seen a Troggle" said Izzy with a nervous chuckle "Okay, let's do it! Bridlewoodstock, here we come!" she finished Pipp  and Izzy entered the dining room "Good morning! Breakfast?" asked Sunny "Yes, please!" said Izzy taking a sit "Thanks, Sunny, but I've gotta fly! Too much to do! Emergency music festival planning meeting at Mane Melody later! Be theeeeere!" said Pipp "At least take a smoothie to go! Wow. Who doesn't have time for a smoothie?" asked Sunny "A pony on a mission, that's who" I said "Here we go. Everypony, brace yourselves for a wild week. Pegasi love music festivals. They're kind of a big deal in Zephyr Heights. Pipp has always wanted to plan one of her own, so she must be feeling the pressure to make it perfect" said Zipp "What do you mean?" asked Sunny "She did stay up all night working" said Izzy "Then we have to help her out" said Sunny 

(Mane Melody)

"I want to lean into the Lumi-Bloom theme and go full flower fest. Flower crowns! Snack tents featuring edible flowers!" said Pipp "Where does the music part come in?" asked Jazz "I am glad you asked, Jazz. The Mane Stage!" yelled Pipp "What bands are gonna play?" asked Rocky "That's where you ponies come in!" said Pipp pointing at us "How? We're not a band" said Zipp "Yet" said Izzy "No-no-no, no, no. I need you ponies to help me secure some amazing bands while I work on... everything else! I think we can get Electric Blue" said Pipp "The super epic Pegasus rock band?" asked Hitch "Wow, Hitch! I didn't know you were such a musical expert!" said Pipp "I know things" said Hitch "And I am dying to have the incredible new pop artist, Ruby Jubilee, perform" said Pipp "I love her!" said Jazz  "Me, too! Everypony does. Her vocals are unreal. Which is why she's going to be hard to lock down on such short notice" said Pipp "But we have to try, right?" asked Izzy "Right! But we still need an incredible Earth pony or unicorn band to round out the lineup. Any ideas?" asked Pipp "Well I my not be a Unicorn but I have been known to sing from time to time and I'm pretty good" I said "He is" said Sunny "Oh I know! I know! We could get... The Dreamlands!" said Sunny "No way!" said Jazz "They're this really famous Earth pony trio that I loved when I was younger. They practically invented the genre of "girl group" music" explained Sunny "But they haven't performed in moons. How would we find them?" I asked "I have a connection. I know ponies. Actually, my Grandma Figgy does. She used to bake for the lead singer Minty!" said Hitch "This is all coming together like perfection! Rocky and Jazz, you're on style duty! Zipp, you go get Electric Blue!" asked Pipp "You got it!" said Zipp "Sunny and Hitch, find those Dreamlands! And Izzy, you and I will convince Ruby Jubilee to dazzle us!" said Pipp "Yeah!" "Okay!" said Sunny and Izzy "On it!" said Hitch "Xavier get to write a song for you to sing" said Pipp "Right on or should I say "Write" on" I said  "Do whatever you have to do! Just get those bands to come to Bridlewoodstock!" said Pipp we all nodded
