He said without any energy in his voice as if he was not sure what to do

Vera walk towards him and sat on her knees in front of couch he was sitting, and looked in his tired eyes

Vera: don't give up rudra I know you might not be in your sense now but we still have to find the right culprit not because of Nitin but because of all those victims who deserved to live , because of their families, because of all those citizens who are in immense terror now because of that one person, and because its our responsibility before anything

He didn't had the energy to say anything more but vera's words were quite comfortable for him when everyone was questioning him that if he knew anything about nitin getting involve in all this she was the only one who was not asking him anything instead giving him comfort

They both sat there without any further conversation god knows for how many minutes starring blankly in each other's eyes as if were trying to feel what going inside each one of them , when they heard a sudden noise in house as if someone barge in

She tried to said something when rudra get up from his place and dragged her with him in wardrobe and close the door, with two of them inside it

He said without looking at her and peeping from the wardrobe, his warm and huge hands cover vera face's half of the face. she didn't speak anything more not because he told her to but because of sudden shock and proximity. And that person enters into nitin's room they both tried to peep from the wardrobe trying to understand if he was a thief or some intruder but wasn't able to see his face as he was wearing hat and mask and was covered in all black clothes, he searched the whole room for a while but didn't try to steal anything valuable which makes it clear that he was not a thief and then found a packet that was kept safely under-mattress he open it and put it in his jacket and was about to slip away

Vera: at this rate, he will escape

Rudra opens the door and before that person can find his way to escape or run away he bashes him down on the floor, vera hurriedly take out the packet from his jacket while Rudra hold him still

She opened the packet and was become shocked right after, Rudra didn't understand the situation, and said her to show what is in the packet she showed him and he was shocked too, the packet reveals the shrug of Rashmi she was born the day she went missing and to more shock of it the shrug ... it was full of blood, Rudra's hold become loose on the intruder and he took the very chance to try to run away but vera soon bash him down again

Vera: don't even think about it, I have many questions to ask you

Rudra looked at vera with blankness in his eyes, his lips slowly open and the only words he utter was

She said while tying the hand of a person with handcuffs

The day of the hearing comes and the police were taking him to court, the road was full of reporters who were asking him any kind of question they can come up with, and people who were cursing him for committing such crime, some were throwing eggs and rotten tomatoes at him

Vera and Rudra met with Prachi outside the court, she was fighting the case from nitin's favour

Hearing start and prosecution again repeat all those things that reporters were repeating from all this while that how he hired jutan to kill Rashmi and how she is still missing and that police found her clothes in his room which only depict that he killed her

The judge looked at Prachi, checked the pile of papers that were placed in front of him

Vera: yes sir its true, abhi tk na to hme rashmi ki body mili hai na hi , koi thok reason jisin ki wjha se nitin rashmi ko mar skta hai or ye bhi ho skta hai ki nitin kisi pressure mai ake crime ko confess kr rha ho , we don' t have any proper evidence apart from his confession and all we have is mere speculations

Judge: nitin we cannot convict you without any evidence on your mere confession, you have to tell us the detail of the place where you bury the body and the reason following which you have killed the victim
