Carrying fruits in her one hand and confused expression on her face vera was standing outside of a room wondering about something

Her baba said from behind and open a door entering the room, while vera was still standing on the door

She said with a expressions like she was caught red handed while trying to steal something

Baba: mujhe explanation dene ki zarrurat nhi hai vera, ajao

She walked in a room to meet the sleeping father of her father , she placed the fruits on table and sit on another chair beside his baba

Her baba: he is doing fine these days , he was not having mental attack either

Vera: hmm sounds good

She said in a low tone

Taking his father's hand in her

Baba, you know I had a weird dream last night

Baba: What kind of dream?

Vera: I saw that I was getting down from stairs and it was so easy, but when I tried to climb the same stairs I was unable to do so and I felt so heavy and I couldn't climb them again

That dream was so weird but I remembered it all day and I kept thinking about it

Her baba smiled

Baba: the meaning of dream is simple

Vera: what ?

The lines of curiosity get drawn on her face and she couldn't hide her urge to know what that dream could possibly mean

Baba: leave your past

Seems like you are holding your past for way too long and now it has become a burden on you so as long as you try to keep climbing the stairs of your already walked down path means your past you, you won't be able to live happily.

And I think that way too vera you should leave your past now and start a new life

She said in a tired tone

Baba: take your time but I think it's better to let go of poison than keeping it inside you are not lord shiva the longer you keep it inside you the longer it will hurt I didn't said you much back in time because it was helping you to achieve all the fire you were keeping inside you it was pushing you more towards your dream but now you have reached at specific point and if you will not stop that fire it will burn you soon too ,be rational and think rationally

Vera looked at him with her eyes widely open trying to catch his every words meaning more often she hardly understands what he try to convey her but the thing she knew is whenever she took his advice she never regretted it, she sighs heavily and nod her head positively

Baba: forget everything and give one more chance to you and to people around you may be things can turn better this time , well I have to go I got a meeting to attend you better gave him medicine before you leave miss lisa is busy today

Vera: but

And with that said he left the ward with vera sitting in front of sleeping figure of his father

Vera: should I really try once more

After few minutes she came out of ward after giving medicine to his father and met with a nurse outside his ward

Vera: excuse me

Nurse: yes?

Vera: can you tell me if someone has visit the patient in this ward , recently because he doesn't have any other guardian beside me but he was trying to tell me that someone was here to visit him

Nurse: nhi to

Vera: oh sorry than maybe I didn't properly understand what he was trying to say

And she was about to leave when that nurse stops her ,

Nurse: mam

Vera; ji

Nurse: hn inse milne koi aya tha or wo ek letter bhi chod ke gye hai apke lie

Vera: mere lie

Nurse: yeah wait a minute I'll bring that for you ap do minute wait kriye and she left

Vera: Who could be that person , who is visiting him ?

A thought cross her mind but before she can stretch her brain to come out with any possibility her phone starts ringing , before she could pick it up nurse came back empty handed

Nurse: sorry I think I misplaced it I'll call you once I will find it

Vera: ok no problem

She passed her a fade smile and came out of the NGO , she picked call and mohit was on other side

Mohit; mam ap kaha jo jldi ayo

Vera found her feet freezed at the ground as she guessed another problem on her way from the tone mohit was speaking

Vera: What's wrong , is everything ok? Why are you calling me at this time

Mohit: did I forget to tell you
