I don't need friends

The new semester started and everyone gets busy prepating for there board examination few students get shifted into another section and rahul was one of them . Vera was busy finding her book in a bag when someone tap her desk she raise her head to look at the person, and when she did she find the icecream girl there .

Icecream girl: oh I don't belive it you are in this section

Vera: ahh you?

She said while trying to remember that where she have seen the same figure.

Icecream girl: oh you forgot me remember the girl who still have your denim who could you forgot someone to whom you have lent your stuff

Vera: oh now I remember you are icecream girl

That girl makes pout at that

Icecream girl: how can you call me icecream girl , I have name and that is " prachi"

Vera: oh sorry but how comes I never saw you before

Prachi: because I was In another section I shifted In this section today only btw what is your name ?

Vera: vera

Prachi: what you are vera? The topper vera

Vera: you know me?

She said with a confused look

Prachi : who don't knows you , you are currently the most famous person in the school

Few girls were passing by there desk and then they saw prachi and pass a smile to her o

Girls: oh prachi you are shifted to this section too? Wanna sit with us

Prachi: ahh thanks but I was planning to sit with vera

Girls starts laughing looking at each other

Girls: vera ? she don't like to make friends don't you know she likes to sit alone she never hang out with us , you are wasting your time . she didn't even share with us her coaching teacher's name .

Prachi: still I wanna sit at bench behing her see you around bye

She said cutting her conversation in between. The girl makes face at vera and walk out with her friends following her

Prachi: seems like many people are jealous of you here

Before vera could complete her sentence the school

Bell interrupted them and they couldn't have any further conversation .

(Prachi was famous in her section and school for her beauty she was one of the most beautiful girl in her and other departments. She had turned down many proposals in school and she was crush of every other second guy. Owing to her beauty she was equally hated by every other second girl who blames her wealth and used to belive that she only looks pretty because she is rich and use many things to maintain her beauty, but still they try to be in her good books as her mother is the president and managing director of the school and only spout shit at her back.)

Even after getting so many invitations praci choosed to only sit behind vera.

After few minutes the class was having a free period and prachi was searching for vera. Vera in a library was trying to reach to a book which was kept so high she tried hard but still was unable to reach there when she felt someone 's presence behind her and a hand reached to book and get the book from shelf when vera turned back to look at the person rudra was standing with a book in his hand

Vera: thanks

Before she could complete her sentence he give the book to her and walks away from book shelfs and went to another shelf to get a book for him

Vera: always act high and mighty then why helps me at the first place

Prachi saw him helping vera and went to vera

Prachi: are you both friends?

Vera didn't reply her and went to one of bench and start reading book . prachi follows her and said he is my childhood friend but he didn't tell me about you

Vera: may be I am not worth it that's why?

She said while reading her book

Prachi: but he usually don't help others if he don't consider them friends

Vera: I said I don't know and I am not his friend

Prachi : so you wanna be mine?

Vera: what?

Prachi: friend , do you want to become my friend see I even bring snacks for you

She said while offering her chocolates

Suddenly the teacher came and start scolding prachi

Teacher: don't you know snacks are not allowed in library come with me you have to file penalty

Prachi : I am sorry mam just let me go this once I will never do that again

Teacher: no rules are rules, I can't let you go just because you are director's daughter.

Vera standup from her chair

Vera: mam let her go she bring the chocolates for me because I said her

Teacher: ok then you file the penalty

Prachi: but I was the one who bring it

Teacher: then you both file it

Later vera was walking towards her classroom and prachi was following her

Vera: now what?

Prachi: I am sorry meri wjha se tumhe penalty deni pdi

Vera: don't mind you said you bring It for me anyways

Prachi : yeah because I wanted you to know more

Vera stop walking

Vera: why?

Prachi : so that we can be friends

Vera: I don't friends currently

And she start walking prachi run to match her pace

Prachi: why are you against the idea of having a friend

Vera: because people only bring stress in my life and I want less of them the less relationships I have the better it would be and they leave in the end so what's the benefit

Prachi: but real one's don't leave

Vera:I am actually surprised when they stay
