Evie's POV

I woke up early the next morning. I put on another dress, this one I borrowed from Kate. I didn't exactly have a closet full of clothes from Forever 21, but I felt like I should have to work at this place. I put on a little bit more comfortable pair of shoes for today, figuring I would be in them until around 2 in the afternoon. I took a last look at myself in the mirror and then left. I snuck quietly past a snoring Katie who had passed out sometime between midnight and 1. She didn’t have class until 11 so I let her sleep.

I got to the building 10 minutes early so I took the time to set up my desk. You know that feeling you get when all of your new stuff matches and you feel neat but you know in a week that feeling is gonna be gone because you were to lazy to keep up with neatness, yeah I had that feeling. I felt that way, but not the last part, not yet anyway.

“Evie, my own personal famous person.... How are you?” I rolled my eyes at her comment but only showed her a smile.

“I’m doing well Janet.” I said. She smirked.

“Good, good. I see you’ve got your front desk setup, even though you could have a desk in the back where our writers are...” She said gesturing to the busy work room.

“Nope I am fine right here, its quite cozy.” She just nodded. After a little more talking she explained to me what my job would be here. She also made it clear that I should not take personal phone calls unless of an emergency. I agreed, great another way to limit Harry and our already limited conversation time. I guess I would just have to deal with it though, I had my life and he had his.

Five hours in and the business phone had rung every other second. People would call about everything, whether they were complaining or people wanting to contact employees. It was finally time for my break so I slipped into the break room and pulled out my cell phone. I turned on and as soon as my phone gained consciousness thirteen different text and and missed call noises went off. All of them from Harry. I got nervous instantly and dialed the number.

"Harry?" I asked with a shaky voice.

"Hey Evie you have to go to the hospital."

"Is everything alright?! What happened?" I questioned frantically.

"Evie calm down its ok, i promise. Liam's mum she's in the hospital. Liam got he moved to the hospital nearest to you because its the best one in England. The thing is she took a turn of the worst." I sighed of relief that Harry wasn't the one I was going to see, but then I felt guilt because Liam's mom was sick.

"What is wrong with her?"

"They don't know. Look we will be there in an hour ok we've moved some of the tour dates around." Harry said, which again brought a smile to my face that was over run by guilt. I shouldn't be happy I should feel bad.

"Ok I will get over there as soon as I can." I closed off my phone and quickly closed down my area. I made sure everything was neat and said good bye to the boss.
