Jesa Roshni chand se hothi hn,
Starire ro se nahi,
Mohabbat ek se hoti hn, hazaron se nahi.
Shayad us liya maine tumhe apna chand samajliya
aur tum na mujhe ek sitara.
Tumahra bigar roshni hi nahi,
tumhara bigar zindagi hi adhuri
Bas, kash tumah ye koi samajh pata.

Just like the moon lights up the night sky the most compared to the stars. Just like that you can only truly love one, and not a million. maybe that's why I thought of you as the moon for me, and you thought of me as a star.
Without you, there is no light, without you life is lonely, if only just you could understand that too.
(It just means that there are a million stars in the night sky but the moon shines the brightness, just like that you can only truly love one person not a million.)
