There once was a girl,
Who loved so deeply,
Who loved to an un-measurable amount,
And showed unlimited passion.

This girl would do anything for her lover,
She'd rebuild the world for him,
She'd rewrite the stars line by line,
To begin a new tale just for them.

She'd fold herself around him,
Like a shield protecting him from,
Whatever came his way.

She'd drain out all the darkness from him,
And shine all her light on him.

She'd do anything for him and only him.
Because there's little to fear when you're in love,
But there's nothing to fear when you are loved.

But little did she know how wrong she was,
Little did she know...
That she was the only one in love.

And at that moment...
When the truth came out...
The world stopped,
The moon lost its shine,
The stars fell like silver rain,
And the universe held its breath,
Only to stop when there was nothing left.
A lightless night was all that was ahead.

After this...
Days passed,
Then months,
And before she knew it,
An entire year,
Had gone by.

Yet she still wondered...
Was she ever on his mind,
Like he was on hers?
Was he ever up at night,
Missing the warmth of her light?

Was he too in pain,
The way she was in vain?
Had he too felt, anything,
Anything at all?

Or was she the only one overthinking about him?
Was it just her who missed his smile, and his beautiful eyes?
Even after, he told her all those lies?

Was that even right?
Was it even just,
That only she felt pain?
That only she was losing her sane?

"Is this how love feels?" she asked herself...
Because she knew very well,
Even if a million years were to pass,
And the world were to come to an end,
She'd never forget him.

But that's not how she wants this story to go,
So she finally decides to move on,
And let go of what can't be,
To let go of the thought of him and her,
To turn into a we.

Because deep down she knew,
Maybe he just wasn't the one.
Maybe her tale was still not yet done.
And don't get her wrong,
She had felt something between them,
A spark of something, Magic maybe...

And she certainly knew, that he too,
Felt something... anything even,
And that between him and her,
There was something more than just friendship.

But "oh well" she thought.
Life moves on,
And with time people change,
And maybe the feelings she has for him,
Will also, soon go away.

Thus she starts once again,
With once upon a time,
A story without his loving lines.

And she thinks,
She too, will find her true love,
The one she can walk down the aisle with,
To finally say "I do" (kabul hai in this case)

She lives like it's was the last day,
And loves like hearts don't break.
