Only the moon is able to light up the night sky,
Not a million stars,
And a person too,
Can only love one person,
Not a million,
But I guess I was just too late to notice,
That for me, my love,
You were the moon and the sun,
And for you I was merely another star.
And that was the truth,
That left deep scars,
Wounding my heart.
I wish I was the sun, and you the moon.
I wish I was the day and you the night,
I wish I was the dark and you the light,
I wish I was the rain and you the sky,
I wish you didn't drown me in all these lies,
And most of all,
I wish I was the one for you,
And that you loved me too....
