"russia? are you sure we should be going" viktoria asked their manager, their tour dates were finally given to them and they had three shows in russia - st petersburg and two nights in moscow. peter didn't know the full extent of why russia was a bad place to be for them. only that they had gotten serious death threats from people in russia.
"you'll be surrounded by extra security while we're there. nothing to be worried of guys" he smiled, though none of that comforted viktoria or the boys.
the group didn't know of their relationship yet, they've been dating for almost a week or so. it was cute, they'd sneak off to see each other. though they knew they'd had to come clean soon.
the group decided to walk to a local restaurant, discuss what they were getting themselves into.
"we will be safe right" bill asked, he didn't necessarily dislike viktoria for this but he also wasn't the biggest fan of her right now. he knew she tried to keep them away, but if being friends meant dealing with death threats that were actually a threat on their livelihood and not sayings from haters - he doesn't know if he could let her stay for much longer.
gustav and georg loved viktoria, they trusted her more than ever. though georg was wary, what power could a small girl carry that could protect them from a mafia? he knew aleksi wasn't certainly involved in one, but it was like a gang inside a gang. there will be people who follow aleksi and not mstislav. though gustav could put his whole trust in viktoria. he knew she cared for all of them. die, fight, sacrifice herself to protect those whom she loved.
"i know there's tension between me and all of you so let me make this clear. i love you all so much, you are mostly my brothers from another mother. i would never put you willingly in harms way. i knew aleksi would be there, it was my fault for not leaving when i was told. though that was a fault in my judgement not an indefinite and pre planned choice. i will do anything to keep you all safe, and i have. you have all seen who i've been in contact with, who me and ilya have had meetings with. those of whom put their money, their men, their time in protecting you. so please don't act like i'm not doing anything in my power. now if you don't want me here, during or after the tour than i'll gladly leave. though for now, i'm the only thing keeping you remotely safe." she scolded, and the boys merely nodded.
as food began placing on their table, they ate in a comfortable silence.
"why is ilya never at these meetings" georg asked
"doesn't like them, in his own words 'i'd rather stab myself with a dull knife than attend those monotonous meetings'" viktoria laughed, she suddenly felt bad for not hanging out with ilya - or her family. she had been so preoccupied with the group, with everything she seemed to forget about those she cared about most. even gustav and georg she hasn't hung out with individually. so that was her plan, before she left - she would hangout with everyone separately.

the next day was ilyas day - she woke up promptly at eight in the morning. ilya was strict in routine. he was never a minute late to what he had scheduled. he woke up exactly at nine in the morning - ate breakfast, work out, do his chores, hangout with whoever he had timed in, homework, helped their mother with dinner, attend the weekly movie night, and go to sleep at eleven.
so viktoria had decided to make his favourite childhood food, syrniki. ilya used to love syrniki more than he loved video games. their mother always made it every sunday morning. ilya would stack five of them - sometimes even more and practically inhale them in a couple minutes.
viktoria quickly made the batter and their mothers iconic triple berry compote. when viktoria was almost done, ilyas footsteps were padding through the hallway.
"what are you doing" he asked skeptically, though when his eyes found the syrniki his face lit up.
"we're hanging out today, a sibling day" she smiled playing the pancakes with the compote and sour cream.
"if you cook for me all day sure" he said snatching the plate out of her hands.
"wow such manners you have" she retorted rolling her eyes, earning a small hit on her arm.
"i'm the most mannered man you'll ever meet dear sister" he smiled before inhaling the five pancakes she put on his plate.
"if you keep eating like that you'll get fat" she teased, only for him to start flexing his muscles.
it was a peaceful day, the sun shining through the kitchen casting small rainbows on the floor. the birds chirping and the soft creek nearby was rushing.
"are mom and dad up yet?" viktoria questioned but soon got her answer as her parents snook up on both of the kids - scaring them both.
"you almost made me stop my syrniki" ilya complained at his mother
"who made them, they almost taste as good as mine" odetta hummed while taking the bite off of ilyas fork.
"it's your recipe!" viktoria snarked at their moms blatant teasing.
"nobody can cook better than mom, sorry vik" ilya laughed at the faux hurt viktorias face held
"leave viktoria alone before she blows up" their dad added making everyone laugh. viktoria had a habit of exploding when it came to teasing. she'd get so mad she started yelling, it was scary but she often kept it to a minimum when it came to her parents.
viktoria just rolled her eyes and snuffed her face with more syrniki.
"so what's your plan vitka" ilya questioned
"racing" viktoria hushed in a duh tone
"are you sure" ilya was suprised she wanted to be back on the track after everything that happened.
"aleksi won't ruin shit for me" she said dismissing the topic.
and so it was planned, ilya would do his usual morning routine until he had free time. then they will go out to race.
