"What did Jake mean when he said about you and (Y/N) in the basement?" Sam asked as the group walked through the forest, following the trail of the so named man. It didn't take a scientist to know they were being lead to the killer's camp.

Claire's face went a shade of red and she shook her head. "Nothing... He was just stirring us up, and it was working." She said quickly, making her seem all the more suspicious.

"And what 'interaction' between you and him?" Steve's head turned to Jill. The woman turned her face to the side, hiding her guilty expression.

"I didn't know it was him..." She muttered, making Steve raise his eyebrows high.

"Yeah, none of us did. That doesn't answer the question." Mike shook his head side to side. He too was very curious about these untold stories. Jill stayed quiet.

"Look, things have just gone real sideways. I feel like we shouldn't be keeping secrets." Leon crossed his arms. He didn't dare speak of the one he already knew yet. Not unless he wanted to literally be killed by Claire.

"They're bad secrets." Laurie said with a sigh.

"Oh, so you have one, too?" Steve practically sung, chewing on his tongue. At this point, they had walked into a library full of stories on the shelves. He was more curious about Laurie though. She seemed to know a lot more than the rest of them.

Laurie was the next to go silent, ruffling her hair as she stuck to walking ahead. Steve, Mike, Leon and Sam all groaned in unison, wishing someone would just speak up already.

"Would one of you say something for God's sake!" Sam pinched the bridge of her nose. Her exclamation got a rise out of the other three, surprising her just as much as the words that left their mouths.

"We kissed!" They finally revealed loudly. They looked at each other with squints as they did. Jill stared at Claire, Claire stared at Laurie, Laurie stared at Jill. It was like a Mexican standoff.

"What?" Their voices coalesced again.

"Oh..." Mike murmured.

"Oh." Sam scratched her head, feeling bad about asking.

"What a player..." Steve whispered, lightly being tapped on the arm by an amused Leon.

"When the hell did you?" Claire questioned, never having expected that Laurie would do that.

"It was after the first trial I had against him. Well... his killer self. I followed him into the killer's camp and got attacked by Myers, but he saved me. That's how I learnt he was a killer." Laurie began explaining with an embarrassed look on her face.

"Hold on. You've known this entire time?" Leon's head spun left to right as he tried to wrap his mind around this.

"Yeah..." Laurie said shyly. "I kind of... kissed him in the forest after that." She then turned her head to Jill.

"I... Um..." Jill began to lose her words until Claire lightly nudged her arm. "I was really intrigued by the new killer ever since he spared me when we first met. We became... friends... or... acquaintances outside of trials."

"I like where this is going." Leon randomly said with a smirk. He really didn't take Jill for the type of woman to be crushing over someone, let alone someone she had only known as a killer.

"It wasn't too long ago. I let him down me and he was giving me the hatch. We had a short conversation and it was when I realised I liked him, so..." Jill trailed off.

"So they kissed." Claire finished for her. To say she had originally been so proud of Jill, she was mildly upset now that she knew who it was she had kissed.
