Eric had been stopped midway through his realm inspection. He hadn't actually entered any as his basic instincts told him not to go into a possibly dangerous world blind. But as he came across Lery's Memorial Institute, he had paused as he found another killer.

Herman turned around from the approach of his realm, his maniacal and horrific face was enough to scare even Eric. The killer let out a haunting laugh as he held his treatment stick in hand.

"Are you here for treatment?" Sparks crackled from Carter's headgear as his psychopathic insanity brought out Eric's own darkness. His eyes turned to slits and he glared back at Herman with a smirk.

"Even dare to touch me... I'll gouge out your eyes." Eric warned him, but that forever malicious grin was all that was shone back at him. But Eric couldn't deny that he seemed very knowledgeable in terms of pain and torture. He just wanted to strip the knowledge from the man's mind.

"Be my guest." Herman dared him, standing tall and unmoving. He welcomed this one to try and attack him. It would only lead to worse punishment when he got captured.

Eric flicked his arm to the side and a blade extended out of the shadows. He gripped the weapon, spinning it and humming as he debated how to go about the situation. He could take off his arms and legs. Maybe he go for the head. But the surges of electricity that ran through Carter made him debate that.

There were few things that Eric was susceptible to. Unfortunately, electric had always been one of them. But like hell would that be enough to stop him crushing Carter into the ground.

But there was one thing that could stop that: The Entity.

He felt the creature wrap its claw around his wrist, calling him for a trial. It made him scoff in irritation. Why was he being dragged in now? He was sure the Entity had chosen now on purpose.

He gave Herman one last threatening glare, clicking his teeth together and lowly chuckling as he disappeared in a flush of fog.

Herman shook his head, also disappointed by the Entity's timing. But that didn't mean he wouldn't run into the new guy again. Speaking of new guy... he too had noticed the new realm that had showed up earlier.

Part of him would've liked to go in and see if there were any new test subjects, but he decided it was time to go back to the institute. He spun around, smacking his weapon down against his palm as he strolled off with a laugh.

But his amusement was cut off as a guttural choke blew through him, followed by the rainfall of blood as it flew up from his innards. His head twitched slightly, looking down at the machete that had pierced through his back. What?

Herman managed to glance behind him as the weapon was ripped back. He didn't stumble, but he shook on the spot from the effects of the blow. He faced down his assailant.

It was a man in a dirty hockey mask. An old and withered jacket was over his shoulders and the rest of his brute black clothes looked just as scruffy. He held his machete up again, leaving Herman unable to respond as the slasher's weapon came slicing down through his neck. Brilliant. Now they had another silent Michael type.

Eric clicked his wrists as he found himself in a police station. The place was fairly big compared to the last few places he'd seen in the Entity's realm. But he didn't mind that at all. It meant he got more fun out of the longer chases.

He glided down the hallway with an excited bound to his steps. Although he was still mad about missing out on a fight with the Doctor, he basked in the bloodlust that came with trials. It was fun to kill and maim in a place designed just for that.
