"So this is all because you killed him...?" Claire's eyes ran over Danny as they all sat around the fire. Hearing this made her feel even worse. The reason (Y/N) had been turned into a killer was because he was saving her. This... this was her fault.

"Killed him, got placed here, then I'd get put in trials as either killer or survivor." (Y/N) leant against his fist as he stared into the blazing flames of the campfire. He felt like he was getting a lot off his chest by telling them this.

"But I don't get it... You let Jill go. You let Laurie go. Why did you mori Cheryl?" Steve furrowed his brows.

"During the trial, I specifically avoided attacking her and Claire. Because of that, the Entity stepped in." (Y/N) explained with a short sigh. The survivors grew more confused at that. What did he mean? Danny cleared his throat, sitting forward.

"You see, when a killer stops trying to kill, The Entity will influence them into doing so. That's excluding any time we give one of you the hatch." He stated. No matter how many times they had been told that Danny was safe to be around, the survivors begged to differ. If there was anyone who enjoyed killing, it was Danny.

"It forced you?" Sam asked, a little fearful as she learnt the god of the realm could influence them with little issue.

"If it makes you feel any better, he cried and had a breakdown when he got back." Rin said nonchalantly. (Y/N) turned his head away, embarrassed that she would reveal that.

"Sounds like him." Claire shrugged. Even in such a dire conversation, she somehow managed to crack a small smile. It sounded like (Y/N) to get all emotional over hurting a friend. Knowing her own death probably played a part in that made her anger towards the incident falter.

"What are you trying to say?" (Y/N) squinted at her. Was this what he got for doing all that? Mean words? What were they getting at?

"Emotional vulnerability." Rin said.

"Fear of loss." Leon added with a head tilt.

"Separation anxiety?" Steve sounded unsure of himself.

"Massive guitar neek." Danny chimed in.

"Okay, god damn!" (Y/N) finally exclaimed, pinching the bridge of his nose and huffing. Why did he even bother asking?

Laughs mixed together from all angles. Survivors and killers taking a moment to set aside their differences and get along. (Y/N) shook his head side to side, unaware he was smiling as he forgot about the other survivors back at camp. He could win their trust back some other time. Right now, he wanted to spend time with his closest.

"I'm sorry... for everything. I should've told you all sooner." (Y/N)'s words came out softly. He looked between everyone apologetically, but they showed no signs of distress.

"You know. It's actually pretty cool how you're a survivor and a killer. It means I got more competition knowing I'm against you and not some random, bloodthirsty murderer." Steve shrugged, unbothered now that he thought about it.

"Yeah. If anything, it's nice to know we might be against you rather than someone else." Laurie murmured. She had been thinking that since she first found out. (Y/N) gave a long hum, noticing the small shimmer on Rin's face as she heard 'bloodthirsty murderer'.

"You guys need to cut it out with classing these guys as murderers. I mean him? Yeah, he's a bit of a fuckin' weirdo." (Y/N) pointed across to Danny. The other man opened his arms as if he was taken aback by the accusation. But he didn't deny it. "But not all of them are bad. Many of them are just... misguided. Like this cute one."
