📍a visitor called death

oh, a heavenly smile flashed as i woke up from bed
"ride with me," she said.
distant and unfamiliar it may seem,
but i wasn't afraid to run, run and catch her gleam.

the wishes she gain
was my dream long ago
it helped me from being vain
and from a past she wouldn't know.

her view from a distance
speaks the elegance,
and she asked for a dance
but before that, the visitor called death killed our romance
