A beam of sunshine entered the room through the window causing Roop to shift in the bed with a groan. She turned to the opposite side of the window draping the blanket all around her and drifting back to sleep again.
The loud buzz of the alarm finally woke her up. Roop turned the alarm off and sat in bed with a loud groan. Why do I never get enough of my sleep?? It was a regular day for her. But as soon as she remembered that she had a meeting with a new client, she got up with a jerk and turned towards the washroom.
As expected, Roop heard her mother's voice from the kitchen, "Roop?? Uth gayi kya beta?" (Roop, have you woken up?) Roop put paste on the toothbrush in hand while answering back,"Haan Maa." (Yes, Mother.)
Roop Agnihotri is the daughter of one of the most respected businessmen in Delhi, Anand Agnihotri and Minal Agnihotri. She is pampered, loved and grown up like a princess by her father. Anand's love for Roop is beyond everything. The bond between this father-daughter duo is priceless and strong.
