Sangeet Night- The Rhythms of Love
..

Sadiyon se tarse hain jaisi zindagi ke liye
Teri sohbat mein duaayein hain usi ke liye
Tera milna hai us Rab ka ishaara
Maano, mujhko banaaya tere jaise hi kisi ke liye

Kuch to hai tujhse raabta
Kuch to hai tujhse raabta
Kaise ham jaanein, hamein kya pata
Kuch to hai tujhse raabta

Roop's Pov

As twilight descended upon the haveli, the Mehendi ceremony smoothly transitioned into the Sangeet celebrations. The courtyard was transformed once more, this time into a glittering wonderland of lights and music.

Thousands of tiny fairy lights twinkled overhead, strung between the ancient neem trees that bordered the space. The effect was magical, as if the stars themselves had descended to join in our joyous celebration.

I had changed into a new outfit for the evening – a heavily embellished lehenga in royal purple, embroidered with gold threads and tiny mirrors that caught the light with my every movement. It looked magical.

As I made my way through the throng of guests, accepting congratulations and blessings, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unreality. The haveli buzzed with energy, filled to the brim with the who's who of Delhi's elite society, all here to celebrate my union with Aaryavir. It was a far cry from the simple life I had known growing up. But the engagement has taught me a lot about my future life with Aary.

As I made my way, I found my man standing near the stage, talking with Rahul. He was all ready in a golden Kurta, with the tiny mirrors just like my lehenga. He looked devilishly handsome in that attire. Hayy, mera dil!

“Roop! Stop gawking, you’re going to trip on your lehenga again!" Vedu teased, laughing as she caught me lost in my thoughts, gawking at Aary.
Yeah, I had tripped before while gawking at my man. Don't mind me, he looks like a treat for god's sake!!
