Roop's Pov
It was finally the day everyone has been working hard for. And also the day me and Aary have been waiting for so long. I looked ahead, staring myself in the mirror as the makeup artist stepped back, taking a long look at me.
Her cheerful voice broke the moment, "I hope Mr. Malhotra will be fine after seeing you today." I couldn't help but chuckle, mirroring her infectious smile.
She was appointed by Kaya Maa and Pinky aunty, specially for me. Her other team members helped her in getting me ready in between and then, helped others get ready. Kaya Maa wanted today to be just perfect.
The MUA softly tapped on my shoulder, giving me an assuring smile, "I'll let your family come in now. Or else your cousins will break the door." I chuckled, "They can be a little excited like that."
She nodded with a chuckle and opened the door. And all my cousins literally ran in to see me. When I finally went home after coming back from all the arrangements checking two days back with Aary, they literally stole him away from me.
Apparently, as they said, they were dying to meet the man who finally met my standards. They all knew about my book obsession and due to that, my reason for never actually being in a relationship. Well, those idiots always considered my 'bare minimum' as 'high standards'. But meeting Aary, finally made them realise what my fuss about a perfect man was.
When they all met Aary and interviewed him about us, Aary had a grumpy look on his face. As if he was already bored by them. Well, he had that look all the time, except with me.
I don't know, how he becomes a sunshine boy whenever he is with me but a grumpy, rude CEO whenever with others. So, when he found me smiling at their dumb but cute questions, he answered them all. Until I freshened up, met my aunties and uncles, helped Maa a little in the kitchen and came back to them, Aary had already become their favourite. I still don't know how!!
They claim that now, Aary is their favourite Jiju of all time and he has their whole devotion as my cousins. When I looked at Aary, he just smirked. Did he bribe them?
