Chapter 19

I know. I haven't updated in a while. I have some kind of job while I wait for classes to start. I didn't write that much too since nobody commented on the last chapter. Remember: the more comments, the more I wanna update. ฅ(๑*▽*๑)ฅ!!

"Look what you did! Get out!"

I woke up with a jump. There was that throbbing in my head again. I rolled over and glanced at my alarm clock.

7:30, it read.

I cursed under my breath as I scrambled off my bed. I was about to open the door when I realised something important.

It was the first day of Christmas break.

I leant my head against the door and laughed at my stupidity. My short panic high caused my headache to be forgotten for a while, but now all I wanted was to crawl back into my bed and sleep the entire morning.

I launched myself back into bed and fell back to sleep before my headache would return.

Knock!

Knock knock!

I opened my eyes, and with blurry vision, I turned to my alarm clock which read 8:10. For the love of God, I only slept for less than an hour. In addition, that annoying person at the door wouldn't stop knocking, which added to my throbbing headache.

Cursing out loud, I got out of bed and dragged my feet to the front door. I found Puppy Alex buried under a pile of pillows on the couch in the living room. I grabbed him in case I really wanted to hurt my unwanted visitor.

On my way to the door, Puppy Alex started growling. I shushed him as I peeked through the peephole, hoping that Puppy Alex's nose was mistaken. One violet eye met a tuft of black hair and a pair of light brown eyes.

I sighed and opened the door. It was too early in the morning for me to deal with another of Alex's unexpected visits. I stared at Alex with sleepy, yet unamused eyes, but not a word was spoken from him.

"What?" I asked in irritation when he continued staring.

"I think we've been in this scene before," Alex grinned amusingly.

"What do you mean?"

"Nice pajamas," Alex said, his eyes raking over my body.

I followed his eyes and found myself in my loose tank top and lady boxer shorts. I let out an embarrassed cry and ran back inside my bedroom to grab a robe to cover up. I had set Puppy Alex down on my bed, and the cute little thing was just wagging his tail at me.

To sic Idiot Alex or not?

As much as I wanted to have Puppy Alex attack Idiot Alex just to get over my embarrassment, I decided against it. I walked out my bedroom with Puppy Alex right at my heels and found the other Alex already casually seated on my couch.

"Why are you here... again?" I asked, sitting on the adjacent couch from him. "Do you know how people are misunderstanding more and more every time you visit?" God, his very presence made me more aware of my pounding headache.

"First of all, Annie-chan, good morning," Alex smiled wryly. "Second, I'm here because my father decided to spend Christmas here with his sister, but he still has a meeting today, so I came here ahead just to see you. Aren't you happy, C-cup?"

My face heated up, and I pulled the robe to have it cover me more. "If I hear you say one more thing, I swear-"

"You're not wearing a bra, are you?"
