I stared at the boy and he stared back for what seemed like forever, he couldn't possibly be real. But he was, and I was terrified.

"Can I read it?" He asked,

"Read what?"

"Your notebook." I blinked, and I blinked again.

"I-I don't know if that's a good idea."

"Jasper, everything in that book is a product of your imagination, including me. I think I deserve to read it."

"And I think I deserve to know how you happen to be real." I bit back at him and he sighed.

"Jasper, you made a wish. You wished that this character you had created - me - was real. I don't know how it happened, maybe something to do with the stars, maybe you're cursed, I don't know. But here I am.

"I don't want you to read my notebook though."

"Fine."

I was truthfully petrified by his being, he was a product of my imagination and now he stood before me and he was beautiful.

"Have you got a birthmark?" I asked. "I wrote you to have a birthmark on your stomach so if you don't have it you can't be-"

He cut me off by pulling off his shirt, and I was rendered speechless. Not just by a shirtless boy of my literal dreams standing before me but by the birthmark on his stomach shaped like japan. Just how I wrote it.

he looked at me as I was left without words. "Cat got your tongue?" He giggled at me and I lightly smiled at the beautiful boy before me that seemed to be even more incredible in person, with his birthmark and his cute smile that was still making not only butterflies in my stomach, but an entire fucking zoo.

"What?" he asked me, still smiling slightly, I gave him a look that said 'what do you mean?' and he chuckled. "You're staring at me and grinning like a fool, Jasper." I felt a heated blush tint my cheeks and I looked to the ground as I muttered,

"You're just beautiful." I lightly looked up and met his gaze, he was blushing too.

"Well Jasper, beautiful people create beautiful things." And I swear he wanted me to fall for him.
