It's only slightly off dress code, but the professors never say anything to me anyway. Considering my dad is the one the pays their wages as Head of the Hogwarts Board.
I rush down stairs and spot my dad "Are you running late again dear?" My dad chuckles as I nod my head and laugh.
"We'll apparate then" with that he grabbed my trunk and I held is arm and we appeared on the platform.
"Thank you dad" he brings me into a hug, "Stay safe this year".
"I will dad don't worry".
I spot Draco and he walks over to me, I give Narcissa a hug and avoid Lucius' eyes.
"Need help with that Thea?" Draco asked, "Please" I giggle.
Draco and I have been friends for since before Hogwarts, his mother and mine were best friends. Narcissa is the one who gave me my necklace, she said it was my mothers so I never take it off, it's a simple beautiful Emerald on a golden chain.
We find seats in a compartment and sit down, soon the rest of our friends find us - well most of them anyway.
They're catching up about their summers as I'm reading my book, until I hear "So what did you get up to this summer Thea?" I hear Enzo ask.
"I mean usually you put out summers to shame" Theodore laughs.
"Oh trust me you don't want to know" I laugh to myself as I go back to reading my book, they all return to conversation but I can feel Mattheo's eyes on me.
I look up and lock eyes with him, he gives me a wink and then starts to engage in the conversation.
"Pansy, what times the party starting tonight?" Draco asks, the Welcome Back party is something me and Pansy have thrown since 4th year, this will be the 3rd.
"9pm" Pansy answers, "T have you sorted the music?".
I nod "And it's going to be good".

"God that speech gets more boring every year" I hear Blaise say as we make our way to the common room.
"Honestly, you would think he would change it at least once" Daphne adds.
"Maybe he should mix it up and not spend 80% of it kissing Gryfindors ass" Mattheo chuckles.
"What and change it to 100%?" I add, as we all sit down.
