The Halloween Party

"You ready?" Mattheo asks leaning in the doorway.

"Yes" I smile at him as I put my journal away and walk over to him, I place a soft kiss on his lips.

"Nah" he says as I pull away, he places a hand on my waist and the other on the back of head and smashes our lips together.

"That's better" he says proudly smiling and I let out a small giggle.

He takes my hand and we walk to the great hall, as we enter all eyes turn to us. I hadn't really been seen by anyone since the ball, so here goes nothing.

Mattheo squeezes my hand to reassure me and we begin to walk over to our friends. As we walk past the Gryfindor table, Harry walks up to me "How are you? What she did was completely out of line".

"Yeah, well I'm okay now" I smile back.

I'm still angry but I just want to focus on me, Mattheo and my friends right now. Not some girl fawning for attention.

I scan the room and notice everyone is looking at me as they whisper. I take a deep breath and remind myself of what's important.

"Ignore them Thea, you know what this place is like... People will forget all about it by the end of the week" Harry smiles.

"Thanks Harry" I say and notice Lavenders group staring at Mattheo rather than me.

"I can't believe it didn't work, they look like they're still together" A girl says to Lavender.

"I planned it perfectly though!!" She huffs.

She did it. She planted the stuff in Mattheo's draw.

All I can see right now is red, Harry and Mattheo both look at me with a confused look.

"It was Lavender" I say to Mattheo and walk over to Lavender.

Focussing on being happy can wait five minutes. I walk up behind her and smash her head into the table, I think I broke her nose.

"Don't cross me again or you will have worse than a broken nose" I smirk, Mattheo walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, "Well done baby" he says and plants a kiss on the top of my head.

Lavender and her friends run off and Mattheo shouts "Now the rest of you, get back to your own boring ass lives or I can personally guarantee you will have a nose to match Lavenders".

I smile and walk over to the Slytherin table, "You're lucky your dad is who he is, anyone else would be suspended for that" Enzo laughs.

"The perks of being a Maddox" I smile.

"Are you okay though?" Draco whispers to me.

I give him a slight nod and a faint smile.

"Everything will work itself out soon T" He whispers.

He's right, everything will work itself out. I mean I have Mattheo, I have great friends, I have a wonderful family.

"I was thinking" I say smiling and locking eyes with Pansy, "We should throw a Halloween party".

"Yes yes yes" she says excitedly, "With costumes!"

"I sort the music, you do the decor and boys you tell everyone... This is going to be the Hogwarts party of the year" I smirk.

"I'll be right back" I give Mattheo a kiss on the cheek and get up.

I sit down between the Weasley twins, "Nice work on Lavender T" Fred smiles.

"She definitely deserves it, and by the way we got the word out and everyone now knows that Lavender is the bitch of the situation" George smirks.

"Thanks guys, I have come to ask a favour" I smile, "Pansy and I are throwing a Halloween party next weekend... Any chance you want to do the music?"
