It's been a few days since I saw my dad, I'm sat in charms next to Mattheo. Somethings bothering him, I'm assuming it's about getting the mark and give him space.
I haven't told him about me telling my dad yet as I don't want to get his hopes up.
"Your next project will be in pairs" Professor Flitwick announces, "I will be selecting them".
Flitwick trails off a list of pairings that I'm not really paying attention to, "Theodora Maddox and Mattheo Riddle".
I give him a nudge and a smile, "Could be worse" I giggle.
He gives me a faint smile and goes back to sketching on the side of his book.

"Did you make your decision?" I ask as I sit down for lunch next to Astoria and Draco.
"Theodore told me he thinks me and Blaise are a better fit" Astoria says.
"That was nice of him" I smile.
Theodore comes in and sits next to me, "How was DADA?" I ask him.
"Snape is riding me hard this year" he sighs.
"It can't be that bad?" Enzo says as he comes over with Daphne.
"I was there it's pretty bad" Daphne giggles.
I rub Theodore's back "I heard Harry is transferring to your DADA class, so maybe Snape will move his focus off you" I say.
Draco starts snickering "Oh no what did you do?" Astoria asks concerned.
"Nothing" he says as he looks up at Enzo and they both burst out laughing.
I roll my eyes "Anyway I'm picking up my dress later, anyone want to come with me?"
"Sorry T, Enzo is taking me on a date" Daphne replies, "Me and Mattheo are going to study with Tom" Blaise adds.
"I'm taking Pansy out" Draco says, I look over to Theodore and give him puppy eyes.
"Oh no what's she trying to convince Theo to do?" Pansy asks as she sits down.
"Fine I'll go" Theodore says, "Just for you".
I sit there rather smug, "Theodore here is going to accompany me to pick up my dress later".

I walk out of class and see Theodore standing there, he must've skipped his last lesson. Thankfully on Friday's we can dress down our uniform, so I don't have to go back to my dorm to get changed.
We're nearly at Hogsmead, "Okay I have to ask".
"What?" Theodore looks at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Why did you give up on Astoria?" I ask.
"Her and Blaise match well" he says.
"Come on, tell me the truth" I whine.
"Fine, there's someone I like and I guess I was trying to use Astoria as a distraction but that's wrong" he sighs.
"Oh"
"And before you ask, I'm not telling you", I playfully roll my eyes.
We reach the shop and Theodore opens the door for me, "Is it ready?" I smile as I practically run up to the counter.
"It is my dear, you have a good eye" Madame Aurora says smiling back at me.
"Are you going to try it on?" Theodore asks.
