Theodora Maddox is ignoring her pain, what happens when she learns she has to deal with it or hurt someone she cares about? She's hoping this year will be nothing like last, she can't deal with that kind of heartbreak again.
It's the week before the bell and we've decided to go get our dresses. Pansy, Astoria, Daphne and I make our way down the Hogsmead to go dress shopping. We walk into Madame Aurora's and are greeted with racks upon racks of gorgeous dresses.
We all immediately split up, the dived and conquer tactic.
"Daph you'd look so good in this one" I say as I pass it to her.
Astoria walks over to Pansy and hands her a dress.
"So Astoria, who are you going with?" I look over to her with a raised eyebrow.
She lets out a huff, "What's up?" I ask.
"Both Theodore and Blaise asked me".
"Have fun with that" Pansy says as she walks into the dressing rooms.
"Yeah sis, difficult picks" Daphne says as she does the same as Pansy.
I shrug and say "Take them both".
We all laugh and start trying on dresses we've picked out.

"How did dress shopping go?" Tom asks as we bump into him on the way to the common room.
"Good, we're picking our dresses up Tuesday after school" Pansy says smiling, "Well Thea is picking hers up Friday".
Tom looks at me and raises an eyebrow, "Sorry I want my dress to be perfect".
"Any dress is perfect on you Dora" I look up and see Mattheo standing there with a big smile on his face.
As we get closer I notice bruising and cuts on his hand, there's even blood on his hoodie.
"What did you do?" I look up giving him a stern look.
He looks at me sheepishly "You don't want to know".
I huff and drag him to my dorm, I sit him on the bed and go into my bathroom and grab a little first aid kit. I start cleaning his cuts on his hands and then notice one on his nose.
"May I?" He nods and I straddle his lap, "Seriously Mattheo what did you do?"
"There was just this 4th year getting on my nerves".
"You can't beat people up for getting on your nerves" i roll my eyes at him.
His hands are on my hips and they slowly start to rock my back and forth, me eyes instantly lock to Mattheo's.
"We can't" I say as I get up and put the first aid kit away.
I lean my hands on the bathroom counter and take a deep breath, Mattheo comes in and wraps his hands around me.
"I bought your tie, it'll go with my dress" I smile at him, "Its on my side make sure to take it to your dorm and keep it safe".
"Thank you, I'll see you later" Mattheo said as he kissed my cheek from behind.

I leave Thea's dorm and make my way back to my own, we I get there I notice my door is open. I slowly open the door to check if anyone is in there but I don't notice anything.
I figure I must've left it open by mistake, I set the bag with my tie in it on my desk and start studying. Usually I'd study with Tom but he hasn't been around much lately, frankly I don't want to know why.

I pull out my phone to check it.
