Mika
"Are you warm enough Mika?"
Kiefer asked me while he gently pokes my forehead. Napatulala na pala ako dahil sa kung saan saan na tumakbo ung isip ko. What a shame! I'm here infront of the ever popular-basketball-superstar looking like a fool coz I'm spacing out. Damn it Mika!
"Yeah..I'm alright."
I simply replied and smiled shyly. He smirks.
"Ok lang kiligin Miks. Secret lang natin yun."
He whispers to me and we both chuckled.
"Wow ah. Dami mo alam. Confident! Game na nga para matapos yung project ko."
He pulled me and we both sat down on the picnic mat. While I'm preparing the things that I needed for my project, Kiefer was busy preparing the food for us. "Picnic date/finishing my project" day according to him.
"People known you as the Phenom. The popular basketball cager and by means of that lot of girls are after you. How do you handle that?"
"Honestly I'm not good in handling that. Yeah lot of girls are after me and shows interest but I'm a heartless man. I date and be with girls by not commiting my heart. All fun and satisfaction."
"So totoo ung mga kumakalat na balita about you na you're an ultimate playboy? Ang hirap nun. Yung girls mafafall sayo then you are just playing safe. That's unfair!"
He looked at me intently. An eye to eye. His face became serious. I wished I have a super power to be invisible. Yung mga tingin nya sakin para akong kakainin na. Pahamak talaga pagiging atribida ko. Me and my big mouth. Then he took a deep breath and looked away.
"See Mika that's why I don't want to talk about my life coz lots of people cannot understand me. People are quick enough to judge you by how you act and talk. They will scrutinized you. Kapag sikat ka bawal magkamali. Lahat ng galaw mo may issue agad. They forgot that you are also a human. Flesh and blood like them. May pakiramdam at nasasaktan."
"You know what that's the problem. People like you tend to forget the counterpart of popularity. Kasi dapat kapag pumasok ka sa isang bagay alam mo ung magiging consequences nun. Once na sumikat ka, it means your life will change and your privacy can be at stake."
"Mika don't lectured me about that. I know all about disadvantages and advantages of living your life in fame. Nung pinasok ko ung mundong ginagalawan ko ngayon, nakaready ako. I'd opened myself and life like a book to everyone. Without doubts or hesistations. Until I met the girl who changes everything in me."
"Ish Tiu right?"
"Yeah. You know her?"
"Not personally though but wala naman halos di nakakakilala sakanya eh. I mean she's really popular. Super bagay kayo nun."
Then he gave me a weak smile.
"Ish is the perfect girl for me. Yun ung sabi ng karamihan. She's the complete female version of me. Magaan dalhin na girlfriend. Super caring, supportive and understanding. Sakanya ko nafeel ung pakiramdam na tinamaan ako. I pursuaded her. Did all the efforts until she'd say yes. Sobrang saya ko nun. Biruin mo ung dream girl mo napasagot mo. We've got the best for each other. People tagged us as the perfect couple. Fans, friends and families came to support us. Our relationship is open to public. We've shared every moments we can have. Masaya pero hindi palage. Kasi sa daming nakasuporta meron din kritiko na naghahanap ng ikakasira nyo. Kritiko na naghihintay na magkamali ka. At dahil gusto ko patunayan sa lahat na hindi ko sasaktan si Ish, pinilit ko kumilos sa gusto ng mga taong nakapaligid sa amin. Alam mo ung si Ish lang sumagot sakin ng matamis na "Oo" pero buong bayan eh girlfriend ko. Ang dami nakirelasyon sa amin hanggang sa nagising na lang ako isang araw at tinanong ko ung sarili ko kung hanggang saan ko kaya ilaban ung pagmamahal ko sakanya. Yung nakahanda ba ko masira ung totoong ako dahil sa kagustuhan ko iplease lahat sa paligid ko. Sinabi ko sa sarili ko mahal ko si Ish kya kung anu meron kami magtitiis ako. Walang bibitaw kahit nagiging magulo at komplikado na ung mga bagay bagay sa amin basta kami ni Ish mahal namin ang isat isa.Wala ako magawa pareho kaming sikat. Then one day Ish asked me to end what we have. Nung una nagulat ako kasi wala naman problema sa amin. Pressured lang sa mga tao sa paligid namin. Then Ish told me she can no longer be with me coz she's losing her own identity and so I am. Ish said dalawa tayo asa relasyon pero hindi na kita maenjoy. Pakiramdam nya nawawala na ung Kiefer Ravena na minahal nya dahil sa gusto ko patunayan na perfect ako sakanya. Ayaw ni Ish magpadikta ako sa mga fans nya kasi minahal nya ko kung anu ung totoong ako. She loves my flaws and imperfection but being with her is losing my true colors."
