"Let's go somewhere else Baby. You owe me one. Nahuli kita."
A familiar voice whispered to me while his arms wrapped around my waist. I know it's him. I recognized the voice and the fresh clean scent. A smile formed at the corner of my lips as he whispers to me again, simply instructing me to walk slowly away from those crowd. Away from the chaotic, loud atmosphere.
I obliged by stepping forward and leading the exited way. We reached the parking lot in silence, only our rasped breathing is audible. Walking side by side but still his one arm holding my waist securely.
"Mr. Ravena what do you think you're doing?"
I had the courage to asked him finally as we stopped infront of a blue Mini Copper. I would think this might be his car. He took a deep sighed first before finally facing me.
"Let's go somewhere else Ms. Reyes. I want to know more about you."
"Huh? Are you kidding me? Anung know about you ka pa jan eh we're already close friends."
I shook my head as a sign of disbelief. This guy is acting strange now.
"Please!!! You owe me one right?"
"Yeah I know but you didn't tell me that it's going to be like this. Duh medyo matagal na din po tayong friends."
"Yup we're friends but that doesn't mean I know everything about you."
"Why you need to? As I've said before theres nothing much interested in me. Si Mika Reyes lang eto. Kung anu ko nung ininterview kita for my project until naging close tayo, ako pa rin eto. Teka nga bakit parang ikaw ngayon ang weird. Ravena wag muna agawin ang title ko na yan. Sa atin dalawa ako lang ang weird."
"I'm not competing with you weirdo! You owe me one kaya wag kang makulit. Let's go!"
He grabbed my hand and opens the shotgun side of his car.
"Wait lang Kiefer. Pwede magpaalam ako kila Ara?"
"No need Babe. I've told them. Bago pa kita hinuli kanina sinabi ko na."
"OMG ka. Why did you do that?"
"Huh? Of course I need to be ahead of you. I want this night to be unforgettable."
"So you planned it?"
"Nope! Let's just put it this way, maybe this could be one of the lucky night for me,"
"Dami mo alam po."
I raised a brow while he just smirks at me. At wala na ko nagawa kundi sumama sakanya. Besides I feel safe with him. My heart is calm and relaxed. Wag lang gumawa etong mokong na eto ng ikaka excite ni heart baka magdilim na naman paningin ko. Hay Mika Aereen breathe in, breathe out. Release all the tensions away.
While we're on the road, both of us are in silence. Funny though coz we keep on throwing glances to each other. Yung magtatama ung mga paningin namin then sabay ngingiti ng simple at sabay din yuyuko. Sya kakamot kunwari sa batok nya, ako titingin sa window side ko. Mga galawan namin di ko sure if normal pa ba sa magkaibigan eto.
It took almost an hour when we reached our destination. He brought me to nice restaurant somewhere in Antipolo, overlooking the city lights of Manila. The place was a beautiful sight to look at. Romantic the best word to describe it.
While we're waiting for our orders, we just simply stares at the beautiful scenery. Both of us are in silence. Awkward moment I guess but for me one best way to enjoy being in serenity. We stayed for a moment like that until he broke the silence first.
