I feel like I hardly see anybody talk about how hard it is
Being in a healthy relationship after one so toxic
All the doubts that start to fill your brain
Without any good reason at all
The smallest change of tone
Makes me wonder when they will leave
How much time do I have left?
Even when it has nothing to do with me
And in those moments I wonder why they stay?
Why be with someone when it's so much of a hassle just to ease their mind of worry
