Part 5 - Not surprised

I woke up really excited today! I turned on my shower and let the warm water hit my skin. It's therapeutic to take warm showers in the morning! I took some of my shampoo that smells like flowers and I used my strawberry scented body wash all over my body. I also brushed my teeth and went directly downstairs.

"Morning, Tori! Sit down here and let's eat together." Auntie greeted me. She prepared our breakfast. Today we are having scrambled eggs, sausages, and buttered veggies! Yum!

"Good morning, Auntie! Breakfast smells so good!" As I wander my eyes on the table and my mouth watered in an instant.

My Aunt and I had a little chitchat about what's going with us right now. How are we handling things. She got a new work in this new place so that must a huge adjustment to make for her as well.

I never mentioned to her that there's this guy whom I can't take my mind off. It's really astounding of how much impact Alec have caused me. It's weird because I just met him but what I feel for him is like I have known him since forever.

I just hope that this would be the last place we are ever going to live to. We finished eating our delicious breakfast and made our way to the car.

"Thank you for driving me to school, Auntie!" I happily said as I made my way to the school's entrance. I went straight to my locker to grab some of my stuff and proceeded to my first class. History!

I scanned the whole room and I saw him there. I sat beside him and I saw him tense up a bit.

Unfortunately, he did not bother to talk to me nor take a glance when I entered the room. Maybe he just felt a little bit akward after what happened to us yesterday? Or maybe I should approach him first?

Nahhhh! I will not do that. That will tell him how easy I am to get.

I did not bother to talk to him as well. Instead, I just focused on my notes that I am listing down while our teacher was talking.

Three periods went by so quickly and without realizing it, it's lunch time.

"Tori, Hey! Let's go get lunch!" As Elina tugged my arms and tangled it with hers.

We walked to the cafeteria and grabbed some spaghetti with meatballs and some garlic bread. Today's lunch is great!

As we approach our table, I saw Alec was there.

I almost dropped my food tray from what I'm seeing. Someone is seated on his lap and they're making out! They're making out in front of me. I did not realize that I just stood still while glaring angrily at his direction.

"You okay??" Elina questioned.

"Uhh yeah!" I bowed down my head as I take my seat. I acted jealous. What the hell is wrong with me? Why do I even feel jealous. Grrr this makes no sense! We are not together! I just met him a few days ago!

He saw me. He did not stop! Instead, he smirked at me and continue to kiss the girl hungrily. My blood is boiling from head to toe. If looks could kill, Alec and the girl would be dead by now. I tightened my grip on my food tray.

"Go get a room, Alec! We're losing our appetite here." Teased Jarred.

I feel somehow disappointed but I'm definitely not surprised. My heart sank while they continued on their make out session. After what happened yesterday, I was expecting him to talk to me or anything that a man would have done. I should have not expected more after what happened yesterday.

"Hey Elina, I can't finish my lunch today. I'll be getting some stuff in my locker and I will talk to you later." I lied. I just can't stand being in here and see what's going on. Or should I say, Alec.

I hurriedly went to the girls bathroom and locked myself in one of the cubicles. My eyes watered but I convinced myself that he's a nobody in my life. Why do I even feel like this? This sucks! After a while, I fixed myself and got out from there.

I still have twenty minutes remaining for our lunch time and I decided to go to the library and get some books to keep myself busy. Right before the bell rings, I went back to my class and continued with my day.

Our class ended and I just went straight to the parking area waited for my Aunt.

"I will drive you home." He said. I got startled by it.

I did not respond. I just look at him in disgust. Thankfully, my Aunt arrived before he could even say another word.

"Who was that?" My Aunt questioned. He wasn't able to see Alec that well.

"Nobody." I said blankly. I am hurt. Hurt would be an understatement right now. But I am not understanding why I am feeling this way.

When we arrived home, I told my Aunt that i'll just be in my room. I looked myself inside and burried my face into my pillows.

"Arf! Arf!" Bridgette excitedly barked at me.

"Come here my sweet baby!" I hugged her tightly and kissed her.

"Would you like to take a walk outside?" I asked her. She jumped and barked again. I'll take that as a yes for sure!
