Merletta was now walking down the castle halls with Arthur and one of the elf servants, who Merletta knew was named " Amara ". Merletta was wearing a formal and regal dress, as she was doing her duties of being the right hand of the king.

Merletta: Amara, what is on my schedule today?

Amara: ( nervously: ) W-Well, Lady Merletta, you have a meeting with the festival and party planning committee about the spring festival next week and the spring ball in two.

Merletta: ( sarcastically: ) Oh, great. ( To Amara, calmly: ) What else?

Amara: T-Then you and the captain of the royal guard need to discuss scheduling the next choice trail, then there's your speech to the new knights in training...

Merletta: Oh, speaking of knights in training, did the Captain place young Wren in a group yet?

Amara and Arthur shared a nervous look, before Arthur decided to be the one to answer Merletta's question.

Arthur: Yeah... That's the thing... My fath- I mean, the captain, sorta, maybe, turn down you and Wren's request for Wren becoming a knight in training...

Even though Merletta had a calm blank expression, all the windows near her cracked when her left eye twitched.

Merletta: ( seriously: ) Amara, let the festival and party planning committee that we have to reschedule our meeting to tomorrow, because I need to have a matter of most importance that had just come to my attention. Arthur, where is your father, I just want to talk to him.

Arthur: Am-

Arthur saw that Amara had already left, and he quickly tried to calm Merletta down as she began making her way to find the Captain.

Arthur: Merletta, be responsible, Wren's only four-

Merletta: And she managed to get on the castle grounds without any of the fully trained knights on duty noticing, and climbed over the fence of the training grounds. She may be four, but she's a lot stealthier than the other knights in training, who are teens.

Arthur: Well-

Merletta: Heck, you weren't even able to sneak into the locker room without being caught by a blind butterfly when you were in training.

Arthur: A bit harsh, but-but... Wren's just a child! And we aren't those humans that trained their knights as soon as they could walk.
