Merletta was in her room, getting ready for the spring festival. She looked at her reflection in her new mirror, she brushed her hair to the side before she glared at her own reflection.
Merletta: How can Nimona even look at me when I look like Gloreth? What do I even wear? ( Thinks, before she turns to her closet ) Maybe...
( With Joe, Wren, Ballister, Ambrosius, and Nimona )
Joe pulled over to the group in a carriage that was pulled by two giant griffins. Wren was wearing a cute little floral dress with a spiked bracelet that Nimona gave her.
Nimona: No, way! I thought Griffins went extinct!
Ambrosius: How...
Joe: Griffins were the favorite animal of Queen Feara, so Monstruon made sure that they don't go extinct, as a way to honor her.
Wren went up to the griffins in curiosity, but as she went to pet one, Ballister pulled the little kenku away from it when it tried to bite Wren's hand.
Ballister: Whoa, kid, let's not do that.
Joe: Yeah, warning dudes. Griffins don't really like to be touched without their permission. ( His eyes widened as he sees something behind them ) Whoa...
The group turned, and Nimona's eyes opened wide in surprise when she saw that it was Merletta, who was wearing an black and yellow outfit with dark yellow knee high socks and black flat shoes, she also had her hair tied into a messy bun. Everyone was shocked by what Merletta was wearing, as they have never seen her in anything other than formal clothing.

Merletta: Sorry for taking so long, it took me awhile to change out of my work attire. ( Noticed the way the group was looking at her ) What? Why are you all looking at me as if I am possessed?
Joe: Dude, we were expecting you to wear something formal and stuff, not this. You look awesome.
Nimona: Yeah- I mean, you look great, Mery.
Wren: ( mimics Nimona's voice: you look great, Mery.
Merletta: ( chuckles at Wren's cuteness ) Why thank you. Shall we go on our way, before Alark gets there and ends up getting most of the food there.
Joe: Oh, dude! I totally forgot about that! Come on, guys! I'll drive!
Joe quickly went to the front of the carriage and the group soon went inside the carriage. Merletta and Nimona sat next to each other, and Wren was sitting in between Ambrosius and Ballister. The carriage door then closed behind them and Joe started driving the carriage, the griffins lifted the carriage in the air and began flying it in the direction of where the festival was.
Ambrosius: So, um, Lady Merl-
Merletta: Ambrosius, please, there's no need to be formal. Just call me Merletta.
Ambrosius: Okay. Merletta, what do people usually do at the spring festival?
Merletta: Well... Like any festival, there's food stands, games, and a few rides. But, at the end of every spring festival, the crystal light show begins representing the celebration of spring.
Ballister: Crystal light show?
Nimona: Let me guess, it's like a fireworks show, but with magic and crystals.
Merletta: What the fuck are these " fireworks " you speak of?
Nimona: ( to Merletta: ) You're joking, right.... Oh, you're not joking.
Ambrosius: ( to Merletta, with a smile: ) Maybe we'll take you to a firework show at the Realm one day.
Merletta: I don't think that's a good idea... I don't think the human kingdom is a good place for someone like me to go, but the offer is appreciated, Ambrosius.
Wren: ( mimics Merletta's voice with a curious expression: ) " fireworks "
Nimona: Don't worry, kid, we'll take you to see one, ( jokingly: ) even if we have to drag Merletta out of the castle.
Merletta: ( jokes back at Nimona: ) I would like to see you try, shape-shifter.
Wren held in a giggle as Nimona playfully glared at Merletta, Ballister and Ambrosius smiled at the two as they can obviously see what was going on between the two.
