It was now moonrise, and Joe took the trio to the Monstruonian knights' dining hall, where all the Monstruonian knights were having dinner together and talking about their day. The dining hall had multiple stone tables and had a huge stone brick fireplace lighting the place.
Joe: ( to Nimona, Ballister, and Ambrosius: ) Come on, you guys can sit with me and my pals, since I have a feeling that Arthur and Gwaine aren't the biggest fans of you right now.
Arthur and Gwaine were sitting in the far corner of the dining hall, Gwaine was glaring at the trio protectively while eating a piece of cooked steak without using his silverware like an animal, Nimona just sticks her tongue out at him making him growl and Ballister pulled Nimona back slightly.
Ambrosius: ( a bit scared ) Uh...yeah. I think that's a good idea...
Joe then led them to a table with three other Monstruonian knights, one was a reptilian humanoid knight that was missing half of his tail with dark green scales, the knight sitting next to him was a tall hyena-like humanoid knight that was eating a bone, and there was massive and muscular female hippo-like humanoid knight that was eating a plate full of different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Nimona thought the three knights looked cool. Ambrosius was a bit worried about approaching them, but Ballister gave him a reassuring look as Joe led them to their table and walked up to the three knights.
Joe: ( to the three knights: ) Yo! Boz, Alark, Tika, my dudes!
Boz ( the reptilian humanoid knight ): Joe! You crazy chicken, so it is true. You're watching three humans-
Joe: Actually two humans, Nimona here is a shape-shifter, dude.
Alark ( the hyena-like humanoid knight ): ( while eating the bone: ) Cool- ( chokes on the bone )
Boz then elbowed Alark's stomach, causing Alark to spit out the bone and it flew across the room and through a window.
Alark: Oops. My bad.
Tika ( the hippo-like humanoid knight ): ( to Ambrosius, Ballister, and Nimona, politely: ) Greetings, don't be shy. Come sit with us.
Joe and the trio sat down and joined the three Monstruonian knights at their table. Boz noticed how the two humans and Nimona were looking at him and his friends.
Boz: I'm taking a guess that you three had never seen a ( gestures to himself ) Lizardfolk, ( gestures to Alark ) a gnoll, ( gestures to Tika ) or a giff before.
Ambrosius: All of this ( gestures to the whole room ) is sorta new to us.
Boz: Well, humans being in the same room as monsters is new to us.-
The doors to the dining hall slammed open and all of the knights in training come in, exhausted from doing a whole lap around the castle. Wren and Kira, on the other hand, were completely fine, and Wren looked at the dining hall with a sparkle in her eyes as her SiblingHood went inside the room.
Jack: ( panting heavily: ) That was... the most...exercise I've ever done in my life!
Zack: Who's idea was it to make the castle so massive?!
Kira: ( Rolls her eyes at the Werebear twins with a smile ) ( to Wren: ) Come on, kid. Let's find ourselves a table for the group...
