Nimona: Whoa.... Hidden staircase.
Yan: It was made by one of previous princesses when the kingdom went underground...
They followed him down into a hidden room in the castle, it looked like it used to belong to a witch and it was dimly lit.

Ballister: What is this place...?
Yan: It used to belong to someone who was...close to Merletta. ( Sighs ) Speaking of my dear sister... ( Turns to the trio with a frown and slight sadness in his eyes ) Do you three remember what the legend of Queen Feara said about Feara's curse?
Nimona: Yeah, she'd created an immortal being from her and Gloreth's souls...but what does that have to do with Merletta...?
Yan: Merletta...is that immortal being.
Ballister, Ambrosius, and Nimona were in complete shock, that's when Nimona realized that Merletta had the same exact color of eyes as Gloreth.
Yan: ( with sadness in his voice: ) She...was, um, " born " after Feara passed away from blood loss of wounds caused by humans. For many many years, Merletta had lost many people she held dear and served the royal family as a servant... until when King Delroy decided that the best way for the kingdom of Monstruon to survive and be safe from the humans was to go underground, he sent Merletta and his two twin daughters, Princess Jasmine and Princess Jezebel to help build it, using Merletta and Jezebel's abilities of magic casting. As time went by, Merletta and Jezebel became...close, very close...
Ballister, Nimona, and Ambrosius listened closely to what Yan was saying, while they were also in complete shock by what they were hearing.
Yan: Jezebel's magic slowly corrupted Jezebel's mind as she became of the popularity her sister had because of Jasmine looking more like Feara than her... Once the kingdom was fully built, Jezebel snapped into madness and tried to kill her own sister and father...it was Merletta that defeated her, resulting in Merletta losing the ability to feel pain. After Jezebel was defeated... Merletta became cold and distant from everyone, changing from the girl she once was to the girl we know today. A girl, who...takes her duties as my right hand way too serious... ( Thinks ) I need to go check on her.
Yan quickly ran out of the room and up the stairs, leaving Nimona, Ballister, and Ambrosius in complete shock and they all felt bad for Merletta.
