Kiara’s POV

I'm now on my way to Jake's house. Our house is just a few meters away from theirs, and it's only a 15-minute walk, which is why he doesn't bother to pick me up sometimes.

After a few minutes, I arrive and am immediately taken aback by the breathtaking view of their luxurious mansion.

Allow me to share the exquisite details of his house.

The mansion is nestled within a prestigious gated community, adding an extra layer of exclusivity and security. The architecture of the mansion is undeniably grand and imposing, boasting multiple stories and generously spacious rooms.

The exterior of the mansion is a masterpiece of elegant landscaping, with meticulously manicured gardens and a wide driveway leading up to the majestic main entrance. The property is discreetly surrounded by high walls or fences, ensuring absolute privacy for the family.

Stepping inside the mansion is like entering a realm of opulence and luxury. The foyer or entrance hall exudes grandeur with its soaring ceilings, a magnificent staircase, and priceless artworks adorning the walls. An exquisite chandelier hangs from the ceiling, adding to the lavish atmosphere.

The living areas are generously spacious and tastefully decorated with high-quality furniture and plush carpets or rugs. The mansion boasts multiple living rooms, a formal dining room designed for entertaining guests, and even a home theater or entertainment room for a cinematic experience.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, luxurious marble countertops, and ample space for cooking and meal preparation. It also features a separate dining area or breakfast nook, perfect for everyday meals.

As for Jake's bedroom, it can only be described as a million-dollar bedroom, a haven of extravagance and indulgence. The room is impressively large, adorned with a king-sized bed donned in luxurious bedding, and elegant furnishings fit for royalty. Walk-in closets and even a dressing room are filled with a vast collection of designer clothes and accessories.

The mansion also boasts an array of recreational facilities, including a shimmering swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a sprawling backyard ideal for outdoor activities and extravagant parties.

I now find myself seated on their sumptuous sofa, patiently waiting for Jake. His friendly maid offered me tea or coffee, but I politely declined, feeling at ease in the luxurious surroundings.

"Anyway, where are tita Clarisse and tito Chad? I haven't seen them around," I inquire curiously.

"They had to go to Guangzhou for a meeting, baby," Jake responds as he descends the stairs, shirtless and wearing black shorts, with a towel draped over his shoulders. His damp hair only adds to his irresistible charm, and I can't help but think he looks incredibly attractive.

As Jake's maid excuses herself to head to the kitchen, he approaches me closely, enfolding me in a warm embrace. "Baby, I missed you so much!" he exclaims affectionately.

"What? We just had a lovely lunch at one of your restaurants yesterday, Jakie," I retort playfully, rolling my eyes.

"Baby, that was yesterday," he pouts, trying to win me over.

"Okay, okay. You win. I'm sorry. I love you!" I surrender with a smile, unable to resist his endearing ways.

He hugs me again, tenderly kissing my forehead. I can feel his well-defined six-pack abs and strong biceps around my petite frame, making me swoon even more.

"Baby, you always look so stunning," he compliments, gently playing with my hair.

"Jakie, stop..." I blush, feeling flattered by his words.

"Of course, baby. I know that. Let's go upstairs. I heard there's a fantastic movie we can watch. Let's enjoy it together," he suggests, planting sweet kisses on my cheeks.

"Okay," I agree, beaming with joy.

He takes my hand in his and leads me upstairs. His sweetness today surprises me, and I can't help but smile as I wonder what has gotten into him.

It's been a while since Jake has been this affectionate, and it warms my heart to see this side of him again.
