I can't hold back the tears as I wander around the school premises after our final exam. Earlier today, I learned about Jake and Trish having a two-year-old child. I tried not to dwell on it too much before the exam, but now that it's over, I find myself struggling to cope with the emotions and thoughts swirling inside me.
I feel lost and unworthy of everything happening around me. As I walk through the crowded hallways filled with other students, I can't help but cry. Feeling overwhelmed, I decide to run down the hallway to find some solace, but then, suddenly, I collide with a man I don't even know.
"Oops! I'm so sorry," I stammer, trying to regain my composure and balance. The man offers a kind smile and helps me stand on my feet again. "It's okay, are you alright?" he asks with concern.
Amidst the chaos of emotions, his genuine kindness momentarily calms me down. Wiping away my tears, I manage a weak smile and reply, "I'll be fine, thank you."
As I take a moment to gather myself, I realize that this encounter might be a reminder that life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Perhaps, just like this accidental encounter, there are surprises waiting for me that I can't anticipate. And maybe, I too, deserve happiness and fulfillment in my own unique way.
