It was a breezy evening.
Students yelled in glee and left the school for the school year had met its end.
The 18year old walked on the pavement, marvelling at the city lights, not giving a damn.
She had just left school, heck! She left it forever! She had changed schools and she wouldn't have to go back to that hellhole.
She saw a boy skipping along the pavement in joy with headphones on, not paying attention to his surroundings, for he was about to move out of his crazy neighbourhood. he was close to hitting her and she was too late to move.
The two crashed into each other and fell on the cold, hard pavement.
"Oh my god! I am so sorry! I should've seen where I was going!!"
The male yelled taking off his headphones and panicking as he saw the girl's bleeding palm.
"It's okay......I was not paying attention too.......I can take care of this."
She said showing him her bruised palm.
"No way! Let me buy you bandages at least!"
The girl sighed.
"Fine."
"Come with me."
He said pulling the girl's wrist to the nearest pharmacy and treating it before walking away, waving.
She would never see that boy ever again.....and she didn't even bother asking for his name.
Three hours later, both of them were on their beds, lying down with one thought.
