January 15, 2024.

Yeonjun heard the news.
Mei's dad is going to leave in six days.
Mei doesn't know yet.

He sighed as he finished filming a dance video for his page. Dropping to the floor, he picked up his phone and scrolled through tiktok to keep his mind at ease.

He'd be lying if he said he wasn't jealous. He's been taking care of Mei for as long as he remembers and her dad simply sent her to korea to live with her mom after their divorce. He took care of her then too, yet Mei forgets him the moment this man comes back.
No he doesn't have a crush on her, he's too close with her to give her up to anyone so easily.

He turned off his phone and got up, putting on his black hoodie and covering his face with a mask.

He slumped out of the room and walked to the vocal training room where Beomgyu and Taehyun were at, recording a song.

"Oh hey hyung!"
Taehyun greeted, patting the seat beside him. Yeonjun shook his head before starting talking.

"I just wanted to know which one of you are going to lock the place 'cause I'm leaving."
He informed while putting on his jacket.

"Oh we'll be leaving together don't worry. Take care! Be careful."
Beomgyu said, patting the older's back.

Yeonjun widened his eyes at the younger's actions before looking at Taehyun who simply shrugged his shoulders.

"Alright bye."
He muttered before walking out of the building.

He sighed before rubbing his palms together and walking into a random cafe.

"Good evening sir what would you like to have today?"
The kind waitress asked once he sat down.

"I'll have one americano, hot. Thank you."
He replied with a small smile.

"Right away sir."
She said before walking away.

Yeonjun looked around the place and spotted a familiar face walking in.

"Oh? Jaehyun?"
He muttered and as if the boy heard him, he turned around and waved at him.

"Oh Yeonjun hyung! Hello!"
He said before walking over to the boy.

"Can I sit here?"
He asked, pointing to the empty chair infront of him.

"Sure, what do you want to have?"
He asked as the boy sat down.

"I wanted to get a hot brew......"
He muttered shyly, his cheeks growing a shade of pink.

"Okay, uhh excuse me? He'll have a hot brew."
Yeonjun called a waiter and told Jaehyun's order before turning around to face the boy.

"So, how's school?"
He asked, resting his arms on the table.

"It's alright... I didn't fail in any subject and soccer's been nice."
He said while nodding his head.

"That's nice... Are your parents still home? We can have dinner together."
The older suggested, the idea seemed nice to him.

"Oh they're leaving on the twenty first. They've never stayed this long and I'm kinda glad they did."
He informed the older with a small smile.

"Oh...can you ask them if we can all have dinner on one day before then?"
Yeonjun asked, thanking the waiter for his order once it arrived.

"Sure! My parents can meet Mr.Park."
Jaehyun said before getting his thanking the waitress for his order and taking a sip out of it.

"When can we have this dinner hyung?"
He asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Uhhh the nineteenth?"
The older suggested after thinking.
