Movie night.

■Jaehyun POV■

Should I go to Yeonjun hyung's house?
I mean I ate dinner so why should I.......

Screw it I'm infront of their door.

Knock knock knock.

"Who is it~~"
Yeonjun hyung sand while opening it.

"Hi(??)"

"Jaehyun!!! Hii come in!!
Why does Yeonjun hyung sound drunk.
And he reeks of- oh.

"CHOI DANIEL! GET THE HELL IN!"
A voice yelled from inside as it got closer.
Mei.

"Mei, Hi!"
I said waving my hands a little.

Why do I look like some guy from a promposal.

"Jaehyun! You see someone decided to drink too much...please excuse me.......can you wait in the living room?"
She asked while she was practically wrestling him.
Should I help her? I mean I don't want to but I should.......fuck it.

"No wait I'll help you."
I should've just sat down. Shit he's in my hands.

"Are you......sure?"
She asked pulling him inside his room.

"Yes I am."
Actually, I would rather yeet myself off of a cliff but I am a kind person.

"If you say so."
She said before making him lay down.

"Can.....you do me a favor and get some water and pills from the kitchen?....the pills are in the first shelf from right."
She asked....to me.
As long as I don't find drugs-

"Sure. Be right back."
And then I went to the kitchen.

Pills....pills.......fever......cough.....sleeping pills........HEADACHE.

"I- I GOT THEM"
I said panting.
Why? 'Cause I just ran from the kitchen to his room.

"Oh- thank you Jaehyun."
She said smiling before taking the pills and water from me and placing them on the side table.

"You can leave if you want......I'll take care of him alone...."
She muttered.

"It's okay.....I can wait in the living room if you'd like! I wanted to watch a movie...."
I said and her eyes beamed a little before going back to being all dull and boring.

"I'd love to watch a movie.........Just wait in the living room I'll come in a few."
She said.

"Meet you there."
And then I left and sat down on the couch looking for movies on their TV.

"He'll come around in an hour or so."
She said out of nowhere which made me jerk up from my seat.

"S-sorry I didn't expect you to get scared."
She said making her way to the single seater couch.

"So what movie?"
She asked once she was in a comfortable position which was having her back against one armrest and her feet dangling off of the other.

"Conjuring?"

"Pfft- boring."
And then I was naming movies and she was insulting them until we settled on one.

"How about.........The meg?"

"Didn't it's sequel get released like a month ago or something?"

"Yeah, can we binge watch them?"

"Sure."
She agreed finally.

We were about half way in the movie when Yeonjun hyung walked in.......he was still kinda tipsy but yeah. He was sober.

Seeing him come inside, Mei reached for the remote and paused the movie.

"Jaehyun? What are you doing here?"
He asked, his voice was coarse as fuuu-.

"Umm that."
I pointed to the movie.

"Riight. Yeah I'm goin' back to sleep...incase it gets too late, Jaehyun, sleep in the guest room. Aight?"

"Alright."
I replied before going playing the movie.

■Mei POV■

1 hour 35 minutes in.....the most crucial part......just a few more minutes of rewatching to go and then I can finally watch the seque-

"Umm Mei."

"Yes?"

"Can you.......maybe sit here on the four-seater?"
Jaehyun asked.......was he scared.
I mean who wouldn't be scared when there is a life threatening, humongous Shark out to wipe out all existence.

Should I?

Or

Should I not?

I should n-

"Sure."

Huh? What the hell? I did NOT mean to say that.

"Thank you!"
He said clapping his hands lightly once I sat down on the couch leaving a good amount of space between us.

"Sure(?)"
I said playing the movie I once paused when he called me.

5 minutes later, there was an arm clinging onto me.

"Are you that scared?"

"Uhh yeah, duh."

"Pfft-"

"Shut up."
He whined before turning his face back to the movie, still clinging onto me.

After a good amount of time, both the movies ended.
And Jaehyun did leave my arm but he came back with popcorn.

"That was..........."
Jaehyun started.

■A/N POV■

"Pfft- you don't need to."
She assured him and stood up stretching her arms.

"You can sleep in the guest room if you want to."
She said looking back.

"Nah I think I'll sleep at mine."
He said standing up.

"Okay."
She said before walking to the door with  him.

"You can come 'ere if you have nightmares."
She said looking at him holding back a laughter.

"Hey! That was once."

"Twice."

"Whatever."
He said before waving at Mei and walking out.

Flashback

"HOLY MOTHER OF MARY! WHAT THE HELL!?!?"

■Jaehyun POV■

Counting the days till my parents come back but who am I kidding, they're gonna be out for the rest of the semester.... and school just started.

Should I call Riwoo?

Nah I'll just go to sleep.

"Mom! Look!! I made a paper plane!"

"That's amazing son."
My mom said before going back to her phone.

"But look at it-"

"I'm working Jaehyun. Go show dad."

"But dad said to show it you."
I said looking down, fighting back the tears.

This is a dream.
Wake up.
Wake up Jaehyun.

WAKE UP.

"Jaehyun?"
