"Trust me."

Mei and Jaehyun were sitting side by side on the couch, not knowing what was going on.

"Are you two.... dating?"
Yeonjun asked, standing in front of them with his arms folded.

"No..."
The two replied at the same time, secretly wishing they were.... secretly wishing the other person would just confess...

"Are you sure?"
He asked again, looking between the two with a scrutinizing gaze.

"Yes... I'm sure.."
They answered again.

"I wouldn't really mind actually.... it's up to you two..."
He swore with a chuckle before ruffling both their hairs and walking off to his room.

Mei-rin slowly turned to her side, catching Jaehyun staring right at her.
The boy didn't flinch, staring right back at her as his gaze flickered down to her lips before going back to her eyes, swallowing a little.

The next day came, and the duo was in the university's classroom. Jaehyun was wearing a white tee-shirt, black baggy jeans, and an oversized black jacket.
He was sitting a few rows behind Mei, deciding to sit with his friend Hanbin.

Mei-rin, on the other hand, was wearing a beige top, a cream vest over it, and black baggy jeans. She was sitting alone with some random guy beside her, picking on her lips and peeling off the chapped parts of her lower lip.
It bled, stung, but she continued doing it, almost like an addiction..

"Alright, Myung Jaehyun? Come up to the front and perform your assignment.."
The professor said, walking off from behind the podium and sitting down beside a student.

"Oh.. umm... yes, sir.."
He said, getting up and picking up his laptop and walking to the front.

Mei perked up when she saw and heard him, watching what he had to show intently. She saw him look towards his direction and mouthed a 'Good luck'.

"So umm.. I.. produced... a song.. it's called 'I do, but'..."
He said after facing the front again, plugging his laptop into the speaker and setting it on the podium before playing the song.

"I'm tired now, I can't do this anymore. You're so difficult, like No. 30 in Math College entrance exams have answers

But you and I don't have one even when we try to find an answer
