"You having fun?" Chad slowly pulled her towards him, arms wrapping around her waist as his head was titled down glancing at her, she glanced upwards with her arms that were just wrapped around his neck, a smile plastered on her lips.

"So much fun with you here. . ." She had grinned in excitement, a part of her sometimes wondered what he could possibly look like, but she pushed those thoughts behind, "But, some people are mean." She commented.

It was sometimes why she despised parties, specifically parties involving kids around her age. The usual parties on her moms side aren't even bad since they already know her disability and aren't even degrading her.

He sighed and nodded his head, "Yeah. . . they are, but you don't have to worry about them with me here." He had gently reassured her, his eyes glanced down at her lips.

She instantly felt her cheeks blushing, and along felt his thumbs tracing around her cheek bones until she felt his thumb tracing onto her bottom lip, and she liked the sensation and felt immediate butterflies, especially at what he had asked her, "I — Can I kiss you?"

With no hesitation, "Yes. . . I mean, yeah."

Her cheeks tinted a brighter pink.

He had lightly chuckled at her quickly she responded, but had felt quite the relief that she said yes, "Have you been wanting to kiss me?" He twirled a piece of her black hair between his fingers.

Though, he's also been wanting to kiss her. He's been constantly ditching his friends to just hang around with her. And, he quite liked her company over anyone else's in his friend group, Citlali always made him feel comfortable, and never made him feel any less.

Citlali had licked her lips, a soft smile was quickly displaying on her lips, speaking gently to him, "Everyday since we began to hang out." She bluntly retorted.

He also was the very first guy to ever even look her way, and had never once humiliated her for her disability. She'll never forget Senior year when some dude asked her out for their prom, and immediately once they arrived had locked her in the bathroom with the lights off, and leaving her to bang the door, hysterically calling her mom and Anika.

That was her first ever heartbreak, but she had known deep down that the guy she is with isn't like that previous one, he's so sweet and really understanding.
