Novi Grad, Sokovia; October 31, 1999
(In Sokovian) "Do something!" the girl said to her twin. "Do what!?" he panicked, holding the screaming baby girl. "Change her diaper or something!" she suggested. "Change her diaper? Do I look like I know how or want to do that, Wanda?" he said.
"What's going on in here?" said a woman. "Pietro, what did you do?" she accused seeing the screaming baby in her son's arms. "What did I do? Wanda is the one who scared her!" argued Pietro Maximoff.
"You said to play with Y/n so I did a Peek-a-boo thingy and she started crying!" defended Wanda Maximoff. "Okay, well she needs to get to bed anyway," said Iryna Maximoff taking her niece from Pietro and putting her down in Wanda's old baby crib.
"How about we watch some TV and eat dinner?" suggested Iryna. "Yay! It's my turn to pick!" said Wanda excitedly. "Ugh, you're just gonna pick a sitcom again," complained Pietro as he followed his mother and sister out of the nursery.
Crack. A dark figure appeared in the room. The Maximoff family downstairs were oblivious to the intruder in their house over the sounds of Dick Van Dyke. The intruder loomed over the sleeping child and raised his wand.
Then a few things happened at once. I high, cold, and cruel voice hissed an incantation and there was a flash of green light. At the same time, there was an exlposion and the house collapsed.
The intruder disappeared after releasing a Dark Mark into the sky, frightened and confused and the crib protected Y/n Simons from the rubble. The explosion woke the baby who started screaming and crying once more.
Shortly afterward, she was rescued by someone in a red uniform and returned to her terrified and sorrowful parents who learned what had happened to their in-laws whilst there were out to dinner.
However, unbeknownst to the infant's rescuer, the two Maximoff twins lay under the rubble, terrified, and confused, refusing to move or take their eyes off of the blinking red light three feet from their faces, the bomb which they didn't know would never detonate.
On the side of the missile was painted a word in big white letters, a word they wouldn't forget until the day they died:

Terence and Sarah Simons have given birth to their second child, a boy they named Thomas. Their now six-year-old daughter Y/n, has been confirmed to be a witch, already showing signs of magic at three years old when she turned her father's oragami butterfly into a real blue morpho.
She named it Dave. She was an intelligent and happy young girl, the only sign of her traumatic past being a curious scar shaped like a lightning bolt upon her forhead.
She doesn't remember the Novi Grad bombings, nor does she know how or why she has the scar, or the significance of it. She didn't know that she was famous before she could even walk and talk. Her parents would wait until she was old enough to explain everything.
However, her parents noticed the child often complaining of nightmares in which a "scary voice" hisses something unintelligible followed by a flash of green light and an explosion.
Of course her parents knew what these strange dreams meant but they never told little Y/n at such a young age.
What they had come to find out was on that same night, Halloween, Lord Voldemort had also preyed on another small child in Godric's Hollow and killed Lily and James Potter. He attempted to kill their son, Harry but failed again as the curse backfired and supposedly killed Voldemort.
